May I remind you that there are only three days left to vote in this round of the AARland Choice AwAARds.

I have this odd feeling that someone is trying to tell me something.

Weird, eh?

With Alexandria in your hands, is there seriously anything around who could stop the Alphabetical Onslaughth? (Does a province richer than Alexandria exists?)

If it exists, he'll conquer it :D

Jan 1st, 1453? :p

Wow, just caught up on this and I gotta say it's the funniest AAR I've ever read.

And they called it puppy love...

Alexandria has a base income of 15. There are only three provinces with a higher base income: Byzantion (20), Venezia (18), and Baghdad (16). Other provinces in the double digits: Genoa (12), Roma (11), and Cordoba, Ile de France, Novgorod, and Brugge with 10 each.

The highest-income province between here and Baghdad is Badajoz, two provinces before Baghdad, at 9. The next highest are a bunch tied at 6.

Jan 1st, 1453?

Restart in 1066 as the next province on the list. ;)

A Short Separation.

Chapter 34: Algeciras

As told with many pictures. And a moderate amount of words.

(All formats, fonts, layouts, and even this little disclaimer bartered wisely from phargle's
Knud Knýtling, Prince of Denmark (and other assorted tales))

This is the province of Algeciras. It's surprisingly rich.

ScreenSave1148.jpg

This is the Count of Algeciras, who is a direct vassal of the King of England. Which should make things interesting.

ScreenSave1152.jpg

Oh those silly Medinans.

ScreenSave1153.jpg

Shoo.

ScreenSave1157.jpg

But despite having wrested Alexandria away, the Medinans with all their Italian provinces must somehow think that they're strong enough to stand up to me. So I must sadly let Alexandria go temporarily

ScreenSave1158.jpg

So I can negotiate for peace without them having claims on me.

ScreenSave1159.jpg

And of course they accept.

ScreenSave1161.jpg

Ah, the Cool Kids' Club. Johann looks like he's on the fast-track to becoming a Chairman Emeritus, just like his late father.

ScreenSave1162.jpg

It was only two weeks but it felt like two eternities, how I could not stand to be away from you! Though since it was only two weeks I really didn't lose any tax income.

ScreenSave1167.jpg

And the first of many unsuccessful conversion-by-sword events that Johann will go through in the next few updates, of which only one will be mentioned!

Because really it's starting to take forever to just go through certain amounts of time, much less provinces! We're down to something like 2-3 updates per year which means that it will be 4-5 years before this AAR reaches 1453, which is terrible! Tune in next time when we see Johann roust himself in the name of a good crusade in the next exciting episode of Real Men Do It Alphabetically, an AARgau!

Your hearing is pretty good :D

Nice to see Johann join the cool kids' club :p And as usual, you're using every trick in your repertoire to manage otherwise tense situations and theoretically kingdom-shattering events. Real men do it with cunning ;)

Just one of many things anonymous4401 overhears while talking to himself ;)

By the way, the last time I dropped by you were on Aleppo. It seems like that was a long time ago ... *continues general you'llnevermakeit teasing as he has done all along*

Hey, it's the burning bald man! Haven't seen him in a while.

Getting Algeciras without being smashed by the King of England seems like a puzzle as difficult as the Gordian Knot. Just remember how said puzzle was eventually solved... ;)

Johann is hated throughout Europe, except in the cool kids club,.
