This is the County of Akershus. It used to be the capital of the Kingdom of Norway.
I assume the King gave it to his son for some reason. I don't care what the reason, as it is a good thing, for a one-province county means that it will be annexed the minute it is occupied!
Anyways, this is Heinrich d'Ardennes, King of Germany. His excommunication does not bode well for the future integrity of the German state.
But who cares about something so boring? Extra tolls were collected at the harbor, which equivalates to about half a month of income! Hooray!
And remember those Aleppoaandas that we took more than a thousand ducats from? Well since we were at war with them the Germans were at war with them, and how! But the brave Aleppoans faced the odds
And amazingly defeated two armies that were much larger than theirs!
Nothing like watching the Aleppoans finally succumb to the weight of massively superior numbers to fire up the old drive!
And Aleppo falls to the Duchy of Meissen. I've always hated those guys.
And I've always hated the fact that my court hasn't yet been flooded with literally dozens of Celtic refugees that take the court positions that should have gone to proud Germans! Well good thing then!
Of course I could have used a 17-stewardship refugee much more than a 17-intrigue one. It's not like I can kill my way to getting Akershus. Well I can but that's killing the soldiers of both the enemy and myself, and that doesn't count!
