    Aintab ain't a problem.

    Chapter 11: Aintab

(All formats, fonts, layouts, and even this little disclaimer relinquished unwillfully from phargle's
Knud Knýtling, Prince of Denmark (and other assorted tales))

    1139-1141

That was not only quick updatically, but temporally as well, as Agrigento was targeted and taken in a single year! Will the next be so easy?

And Aintab, which USED to be an independent Sheikdom, which is like, the best thing that it could have been.

Sadly, some loser Brittanians decided to go crusading and succeeded even! And even more dramatically, it is Stefan's own brother-in-law that now holds Aintab! Or whatever. All these de Cornucopias look the same to me.

And Agrigento is given to the current Diocese Bishop because I'll need the piety to reduce the badboy I gain from claiming and getting provinces in offensive war against fellow Christians, just like I'm about to do now! Well, not right now, but soon...

I've heard of characters taking after their parents, but taking after the player playing the game? Heh.

All right, now Aargau can Build Large Ships to sail up and down the vast body of water that is the Bodensee!

And Bodil Knytling, long-serving, long-suffering Knytling spy master, is dead.

She is replaced by a fellow Scandinavian.

    Yeah take THAT thieves!

    And I get a new ecclesiastically-educated guy.

And make him my Marshal. Also I marry Ute von Habsburg to him, who only recently grew into a marriagable age.

What will the Habsburgs do about their shortage of ecclesiastically educated court members? Will a newly-conquered province ever not be turned into a bishopric when it can? And will Aintab be easy to conquer, or will the Brittanians put up a fight? And is that question necessary, considering that the Duchy of Abydos's main provinces are much closer to Aintab than Brittany's, and that their name is Brittany! Brittany, for God's sake! That's a girl's name! Tune in next time and see what will happen in the next exciting episode of Real Men Do It Alphabetically, an AARgau!

Watching all those English ships finally paid off in solid technological development.

So you're proud, arbitrary and deceitful, are you? Could have fooled me.

The league of Al is ready. Double yoour possessions , if you can!

That's the nice thing about Popes, they'll always send you somebody to be your bishop.

I am suspicious no-one fell down stairs in this episode. The Bretons will be real pushovers!

    Rapscallion.

Don't laugh. If you ever levy those troops ever, you know the AI will route them over that g@#@%!@# lake for no reason whatsoever. And now it will cost less.

Oh, @#$%, it's Renaud de Cornouaille. You might want to watch out for this guy, I had him in my AAR and things got messy in a hurry.

You definitely don't have to worry about those people being Real Men, though. I can tell you from experience.

Breton is the name of the people. Bretagne is what the French call the region. There are no more French in this game. Brittany, which happens to be a girl's name, is what the English call it, and they own half of France, along with two-thirds of Spain and their original England. The game also calls it Brittany.

If you want war, prepare for war.

    Chapter 11: Aintab

As told with many pictures. And a moderate amount of words.

(All formats, fonts, layouts, and even this little disclaimer relinquished unwillfully from phargle's
Knud Knýtling, Prince of Denmark (and other assorted tales))

    1141

And the regiment of Abydos marches once more.

While the folks back home get a brand new harbor!

The regiment of Acre also marches once more.

A girl being a sissy? How is this an event? The entire female gender are sissies by default! Hehe. Misogynistic humor. Heh.

But unlike the Abydos regiment, the Acre regiment gets to fight the Byzantine Empire's rebellions for them!

    Well that was good practice.

And as Abydos prepares for war with their armies, they also prepare for war with their diplomats! Such as preparing to actually declare war, which would be what is needed for war in the first place.

    And the regiments are ready.

    The diplomats are ready.

And we're ready to war against our most hated enemies: The Sheikdom of Aleppo!

Yes! Long have we awaited for the crushing of the Aleppoites by the Alphabetical Armies! Their enmity with us runs deeper than the deepest of furrows! And as fortune shall have it, this opportunity to destroy them once and for all has revealed itself! May the world see, tremble, and know just what will come to them if they oppose the will of the von Habsburg! Tune in next time and see what will happen in the next exciting episode of Real Men Do It Alphabetically, an AARgau!

It's ok, now that EuroManiac left, there wouldn't be any cute girls anyway, so it doesn't matter if you make them angry!

Did he have to dow the Aleppianites just to reach Aintab? or will we an out-of-order conquest solely for the purpose of letting Anon ignore his many fans yelling at him? The SUSPENSE!!1!

Anon has many fans, all of whom line up in alphabetical order.

It may appear that Teluch is an available route, but don't let the shield fool you, it's a muslim held province. Aleppo is usally good for lots of cash. He does not plan on conquering it, just take out the army on the way in to Aintab and take the mony on the way out - after Aintab is within the Hapsburg domain.

I hate how they won't let you march through muslim lands. But Real Men fortunately will declare war on whoever is in the way. You'd think Aintab would see it coming.
