England conquering the world is hardly a delusion is it?

It is a natural state of affairs

Mistakes, most certainly, though we are currently in the process of correcting those in RL Behold...the exponential growth of English language around the world - however this does not mean there will be no spelling mistakes or bad grammer used here.

The aim is an easy WC...Wc by 1500 sounds like it would require some planning.

The life and times of a deluded megalomanic anglophile

One of the major problems that became apparent in my last WC attempt was simply having too many borders when the Bad Boy wars hit. Gaining Isfahan, Armenia, Astrakhan, Samara and Alexandria early on may be beneficial on the balance sheet, but it creates many enemies, borders and extra BB from offensive wars, thus undesirable headaches.

I don’t want a hard WC, I’m really lazy and I want it easy. So the basic plan is to amass as many provinces as possible in defensive wars early on, colonize as much as possible (as we want as many Anglos as we can manage in our little world ), out tech everyone, then kick some serious butt.

Being English, we have already won the game. However for all other intentional purposes we must examine the other meaningful criteria…

    - Monarchs - Excellent

    - Leaders - The Best

    - Events - We have four deflation events, what more needs to be said

    - Cultures - Though it may be painful, dreadful, bloody horrifying and burn many an Englishman’s eyes…we have French culture…together with our primary Anglo Saxon. Despite the continual pain inflicted upon us, it will obviously come in handy in controlling mainland Europe.

    - Position - Commanding, arms reach to the other Western ‘powers’ and the rich provinces of fertile Europe.

We begin with the usual business…killing Frenchies. The aim here is to destroy their armies, capture provinces and loot in sync until 1452 (just before the hundred year’s war event kicks in, in 1453), then we take most of their provinces (it’s a defensive war, so only 1 BB each.)

Having 0 BB is a complete shame and damn waste. No BB means that there are a lot of the Kings employees going to work each day with nothing to do, twiddling their thumbs, bored out of their brains. How would you feel? Waking up each day and going to the diplomatic office to find nothing there to do? On top of that the King could walk in at any moment and find you asleep! There is no job satisfaction for these kind of employees and they will soon become restless and depressed, this affects their wives, their children…the cycle is endless. Therefore we give them some work, some BB to work on and they are happy and we are happy because they are happy (the children are happy - think of the children), everybody wins….except Norway, we plan to take their colonies and trading posts : D

Cover their provinces and they cant conscript anymore troops.

Navarra is an exceptional ally to have, they can help in sieging, though they are more valuable as a hated enemy of Aragon and Castile.

Abit sooner than what I had hoped, as Im still preocciped in France, nethertheless...

Good ole Henry ends Provence’s little escapade, while Norway gets a lesson in naval warfare.

Meh...they cant touch us, but we can touch them.

Frenchies secured, its now Aragon’s turn to burn.

No time like the present to build those cities.

I found this abit amusing as I can never recall Muscovy doing anything out of their traditional area so early on. Talbot is havng to recapture provinces which troops from Lorraine (now dead) had freed.

During the entire course of this war absolutely no troops were conscripted, only mercenaries were hired - to keep war exhaustion as low as possible.

This is the total loot per year of France, her vassals (bar Auvergne, as BB was low and we needed to increase it by taking Cevennes-remember the kids), Lorraine, the best part of Aragon and I think 100% of Scotland at this time.

We also gained Piedmonte from Savoy, which has been captured by the Venetians (who joined Aragon/Naples alliance), now being seiged by Warwick.

Pfffft??? What do ya think your doing, we got low Bad Boy, therefore we are a Good Boy. Navarra later annex Milan.

By this time weve made peace with Bourbonnais for Limousin and Scotland for her three provinces. Rebels are beginning to be more common and a real pain, we havent been hiring many mercenaries lately as we want to keep the army size down, in the hope that other Kingdoms maybe more likely to make war on us in the future.

With 100% war score, Aragon offer all except the province of Aragon.

    Scantily??? they are appropriately attired!!!

Women do make up about 50% of the population afterall, in these days of equal rights its only fair, no, in fact they deserve to be represented in AAR's in reasonable proportions me thinks (thats my excuse anyway )

    EDIT - glad your noticing

'Proportions' could very well mean that, however I would not say that is what I meant (although I can understand how one could come to that conclusion) .

I would say proportional to the number of pictures of men, like the 2nd last post there was 2 pictures of one man, though only one picture of one woman. So the proportion (or ratio) of men to women is 2 :1, so the proportion of women in that post was lower than men...anyway, I guess this is irrelevant.

EDIT - So if I was to be fair, in this messed up politically correct age, I would have had one more picture of a woman

    Good start.
In my "current" game as Englang, playing AGCEEP 1.42, I early on waged war with Portugal, vassalized them and then used their knowledge of the world to attack Songhai and the like, pagans then, and annex them. You get an additional border in BB-wars, but after some converting you'll be having quite a number of additional anglos under your command early on. Plus the CoT in Timbuktu. Unfortunately, iirc in vanilla Songhai is Muslim from the get go, so that may no be an option. However, the African nations south of Songhai surely are.
