Cant start DD after using Editor

Each time I use the editor I get this error message
when starting DD

ERROR in language file, token 'HEARTS OF IRON! Doomsday'

If I reload DD it will run fine.

But as soon as I use the editor for anything I get this error message.

I am using an unlocked Demo download upgraded to 1.1

Same thing happened to me -- must be something with the editor

I reported the bug, so let's see what response we get.

If you keep hitting ignore the game loads; but then after you choose single player and load a scenario it crashes during the game loading screen.

Too bad, as I really excited to play with myself and some friends are Leaders I edited in!

-- Note -- I emailed this twice to the email address above, hoi2bugs@paradoxplaza.com, and both were bounced back as failure notices from mailer daemon. I followed the directions on the sticky thread.

Was wondering if something is wrong with that email address?

Hi,

I have the patched version of DD and I have a problem
after using the editor. I'm sure others have reported
this as well, was wondering what the solution was?

I edited Argentina, Germany, Italy, and Siam. Edited
some Argentinian leader names, added some leaders and
ministers, gave IC and other additions to that country
as well as Italy and Germany, and then saved
everything.

After I saved them all, I tried to open up DD but got
this message: "Error language in language file, token
Hearts of Iron! Doomsday' Do you still want to
continue? (Abort, retry, ignore)

When I hit ignore the game had another error screen
and crashed; but when I hit ignore the game loading
screen came up.

I then chose to load the 1936 scenario single player
-- the game started loading after I chose Argentina.
About a quarter of the way through the game loading
screen this message came up:

-- Error : (Country: Unexpected Field0' date = { line
= 39 file = scenarios) 1936/(NOTE Backslash is foward
slash, my keyboard isn't working well)aut_36.inc ---
Do you still want to continue? (Abort, retry, ignore)

I hit ignore then it crashed totally back to desktop.

Was wondering what the problem is? What kind of bug is
causing that? I didn't set anything too crazy -- I
gave 30000 resources in oil, money, and other
resources to Ireland and Siam, as well as Argentina.
Changed the IC, TC, and added nation leaders, tech
teams, but nothing that seemed outrageous enough for
it to crash.

I will check out the problem with the E-mail, address, We changed over our e-mail system so it could be that address was lost, let me look into it.

And me.I'm pissed of about the lack of any info of how the editor works.Look at the recently released demo of Strategiccommand2.The Battlefront forum has a pdf manual that goes into great depth about the editor in that game.Why the hell has Paradox not given us info on how the bloody thing works.

I am upset that I spent so much time and effort using the editor, only to discover that it doesn't work!

Well to be fair you can play the game just not use the editor.

It was my understanding that you could play Doomsday, it was just that when you edited the game files with the editor that you could not play the edited game?

That is what I meant by being able to play the game, but not use the editor.
