Sir Humphrey - That's the kind of attitude needed to win this election.
phargle - I was given to understand US law had advanced considerably beyond merely calling 'Shotgun' on an item. However if it hasn't I call being President from 2012 to 2020.
GeneralHannibal - That confused me as well. I've also noticed a few of the index links don't work anymore, despite being the same format as perfectly working ones. It's very strange.
Jalex - I was just thinking of all the extra interest and reader interaction it would generate, the extra posts and views were purely a side effect. Honest. Ish.
RAFspeak - Sadly sir even under Florida Rules I can only count that as one Democrat vote. You must be a tad more subtle in your ballot box stuffing.
Derek Pullem - You have hit the nail on the head sir. I notice your keeping above the electoral fray, very wise I think.
Arilou - Oregon has one vote for Ironman, still time for others to vote the other way and change it though.
trekaddict- Yes we are, therefore having good lawyers is at least as important as getting lots of votes.
phargle- Daily voting is fine, though I must warn you New York is the home turf of Tammany Hall, there's a chance your vote might get 'reinterpreted' come the final result....
trekaddict - Though there is a limit to how many dogs and dead men you can count I suppose.
Anazagar- But is he so wrong he's right?
Jalex - Duly noted.
TheExecuter - Garner will be annoyed if he loses his home state of Texas, stops will be pulled out and favours called in to ensure he gets the 'correct' result.
Latest Opinion Poll
Hull-Barkley (Democrats) - 45% (+6%)
Landon-Vandenberg (Republican) - 41% (-5%)
Garner-White (State's Rights) - 14% (-1%)
Another dramatic swing back in favour of the Hull ticket, the Democrats pulling out all the stops in the North East to win back voters impressed by the recent Republican rallies. Particular credit must go to Barkley for really firing up the Democrat base, particularly in the key state of New York which the Democrats must hold to have any hope come November.
Garner's State's Rights Party continues to defy the pessimist and attract significant support. If these results are replicated in the Electoral College, which is far from certain, it could be the electors pledged to Garner who have the final say on the next President.
