America, where suddenly the right-wing president will do a worse job reviving the economy than Roosevelt.

Carlstadt Boy - Simple and concise.

DonnieBaseball - From now on every election will be "vote early and vote often", the alternative is keeping an exhaustive list of every voter which I've found is more effort than it's worth.

Duritz - It appears you are on the winning side this time, well partially, without giving away the result I can promise at least two of those wont happen. On which point I am as always amazed at the leftie contempt for democracy; 'Stuff what the people of Gibraltar (or indeed the Falklands) want, just hand them over to the nearest other country with a inferiority complex.'

Am I missing something, is there some clause to the UN charter that says 'Those self-determination sections don't apply to the evil Brits'? ( :D )

Faeelin - More economically illiterate than FDR? Now that is a challenge!

Jalex - Mission accomplished!

Vote Tally
Spain - 7
US - 2
Disqualified votes for Option 3 - Several

It appears Dury may win at last, can the system survive such shock?

Okay, since there will be no new plotlines just yet, I think I am voting for Spain. Bigger chance for awesome meets between historical figures.

Spain... I'm afraid it's not gonna happen, but still do hope for a Republican victory... triumph of the worker over the clergyman, the peasant over the land-owner... the people over the rulers... :(

I've been away for a few days, but put me down for another vote for Spain. It's been too long since we heard anything from that direction.

Spain again please.

Dury winning a vote?!? I'm just waiting for the time vortex to open and swallow this AAR whole...

But while I'm on a roll and seems though Pip has ruled out at least two of my wishes I'll add two more to the list...

I vote for a Spain where Real Madrid isn't funded by the national government, I vote for a Spain where Barcelona FC is not more than just a club!

After all, it is a Champions League week! ;) :D

Dury.

Just caught up, well reread from the beginning, very good.

Between this and trekaddict I've not done a single useful thing for a week :D

That isn't Spain, you might as well go the whole hog. Real Barcelona, love live the Kingdom of Aragon ;)

I vote for a Republican Spain, I vote for a catholic church that turned on the Nationalists after moorish troops committed atrocities, I vote for Franco living in Lisbon cafes while writing his memoirs that no one will read, I vote for Britain handing back Gibraltar to a victorious and angry Socialist government, I vote for an independant Morocco, I vote for a Federal Spain with autonomous regions and Basque taught in schools, I vote for a better world!

For a moment there, I thought you were doing the Choose monologue from Trainspotting.

Since my earlier vote was disallowed, I vote Spain, too. To be quickly followed by the promised hot steel on steel welding.

C&D - Highland bagpipes remain highly classified even to this day, it's a closely guarded secret that few know.

Drat! My attempts to replicate the destructive potential of the bagpipe has been foiled again! Why is it that the secrets of MI6 lay bare in novels and action films by a former spy while the Instrument of Doom is classified information?

Oh, and another vote for the reigning President of the Unresponsive States of America. Even he needs some lovin'.
