Must say, the latest horde leaders have shown an unusal degree of mercy when dealing with their enemies. Shouldn't they rather spare the rod and spoil the axe?

Kill kill, hate hate, murder murder, mutilate!

Good to see this still going strong, Duke! I agree, a rather merciful showing against Poland, but perhaps that's for the best. Any takers on your ad to go to warm, balmy Uzbek?

Great job teaching those Poles a lesson. And by taking only one province off them it may leave them stupid enough to DOW you again! Meanwhile I'm glad to see the Horde can now offer the world Armoured Salted Wool! :D

How about Salted Steel Wool Scrubbing Pads? ;)

Nobegow - One province was enough for now. I don't have big plans for expansion west at the moment.

Iche_Bins - Salted iron in wool? I'm not sure if even the Horde can find a market for that :D

Specialist290 - You'll see more good things from the Horde. Thanks for the advice. I hope to put it to good use later ;)

billy bob - Thanks. Plan of Kiev?

Farquharson - I guess they will DOW me again in the future. The game actually CTDed twice during the war and I had to reload the autosave from before the war. Each time they always declared war on me no matter what. I could see no rationale behind it. Oh well that's artificial 'intelligence'.

stnylan - It was nice to not get so bogged down this time.

Vann the Red - Perhaps the shortness can be attributed to the fact it was unplanned and I had no real goals for it. But it worked out good.

Grundius - It was frustrating. Its the reason I keep MA with Muscovy even if it stops me DoWing.

GrimPagan - I didn't really take a lot there because after the initial swift progress it got slow. They kept recruiting troops non stop and gathering them in Volyn which is swamp and over a river so my cavalry would have fared poorly. Because of that I couldn't annihilate their army which kept chucking me out of Podolia.

CatKnight - Good to see you back Catknight. Theres been enough takers for the colonies to begin a new one. They don't seem to learn :)

Specialist290 - Those are for cleaning up. The Horde makes messes not tidies them.

FlorisDeVijfde - All the better to trample my enemies :D

Battle Plan. Was it like that one battle and just swarm or more complicated?

It was traditional Golden Horde tactics, so of course it wasn't complicated. Just swarm all over them :D

Always great to hear. :D

Great AAr. My hat is in a fifty foot deep pit to you.

The reason you need to do it twice instead of just once is because I've noticed that, sometimes, if an army falls below 1000 men in enemy territory, it'll lead a retreat back home at the beginning of the month.

Don't they always retreat from a siege if there's less than 1000?? (where 1 cannon counts as 100, naturally :p )

I just finished reading this. It's a superb AAR; nice use of screenshots. The gameplay is always intriguing. It has gotten exponentially funnier since the beginning, also.

Now ally with the Habsburgs and the Pope and destroy the Ottomans. *head falls off*

Silly Polish. You might hope they continue to be silly as you could have Russia surrounded soon.

Finally caught up and great to see the GH still going strong - revolts and all. ;)

Nice little war vs Poland there. But I wonder why anyone still tries to get a piece out of the mighty, mighty Horde. It has been proven to be impossible again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again... :D

Rotten Venetic - Thank for that. Always nice to hear that someone is enjoying it.

Lord J. Roxton - Thanks. Considering how great your AAR is I think thats quite a compliment. I'm actually surprised at the evolution of this AAR. When I started I never expected to write comedy into it. But I guess it just worked out that way, its the way I enjoy writing.

coz1 - I'm surprised to still be going so strong actually. It would be nice to make Russia into an island, an island getting ever smaller. Congratulations on becomnig a demi-mod.

HistoriK - Everyone just seems to want a piece of my salted wool supply.

Tomczas - I guess you won't have to wait too long for the next war (though I won't be able to update for about a week and a half) theres always another enemy on the horizon. Sorry about your country but they DOWed me what was I suppose to do :p

The last updates were really nice. :) I remember salted wool from my Khazak days ;) and I'm sure it was a relief when you got the iron, too. Here's my interpretation for the most useful product out of all that stuff:

You use wool for nice warm winter clothes, right? Add iron for bulletproofing as more of your neighbors attain LT 9. Now for the salt -- hmm...?? Ah! Got it! That's for keeping the soldiers' rations from spoiling! Perfect uniforms for your army! :D

The Suebian - I think if I had really gone for it I could have gotten more but it was getting too costly to keep throwing cavalry at them in an attempt to destroy their army relative to what the gains would be. I needed it destroyed because it kept breaking the siege in Podolia despite sometimes having smaller numbers. I was also not sure if taking Podolia would be a good move because it would give me a longer border to defend against the OE

Nobegow - I wish sooner but as it is it won't be for about a week and a half :(

jwolf - Thanks. It was actually a memory of your Khazak AAR (Still one of my favourite AARs ever :)) that parked me to check if I was the largest producer of wool yet. Thats good thinking about the products. You could easily get a job as a military advisor for the Horde.

Finally caught up again! Well done! I am wondering, though....You seem to be concerned about whether you are overextending yourself. You personally, that is. Are you worried about that, actually?
