Deus - It will not be tolerated
rsobota - Errr, why's that?
Chief Ragusa - Good foresight there.
SunZyl - It helps keep it fun. Besides if I give good stuff it feels like cheating.
pjrap - War you shall get.
J. Passepartout - Quite right, rebels are a big part of playing these guys so must be taken.
GregóriodeMatos - Of course we don't consider ourselves that, rather the events do.
Rotten Venetic - I think you're right in that but I took this route so I'll stick with it.
Chief Ragusa - Sounds like a nice storyMaybe not yet though.
stnylan - Precisely, the Horde are oppressors not liberators.
Lord_D - You're right on there.
Storey - They'll be kicked out, just maybe not in that way.
coz1 - Quite, can't have good things happening all around.
Grundius - Very good idea.
Gaius Ben - Thanks very much. Welcome to the forums BTW.

Chigakka : Part 1
Choosing between one more dead Khan and negiotiating with terrorists is like choosing whether or not to behead an uzbek. There's only one viable choice to keep the balance of things. And so it was that Chigishi 'sacrificed' himself for the 'prosperity and peace' of the Tatar people.
His son Chigakka ascended the throne. Coincidentally it was upon his decision that the uzbek demands were rejected, a move some claimed was made solely for his own advancement, a claim naturally denied vehemently by Chigakka.
Chigakka 'the Ambitious' takes the seat
As soon as he took power Chigakka began the recruitment of a large new army. They were bound to see action soon enough.
Join the Horde, see the world and the organs of many an enemy
The new armies were trained in warfare by fighting lumps of clay. Clay being the material best considered to match the uzbek for both speed and intelligence. With this specialised training completed the recruits headed to Astrakhan to receive their mission officially, for all were clear on their destination already.
Chigakka himself gave a stirring speech to his armies to really get them into the mood for good old fashioned uzbek bashing. The speech known as the 'Speech of Peace' became very well known and some believe it to have been a basis for future leaders.
"My father was a great man, a bright man. But he was targeted. Attacked by cowards because he was the brightest beacon for freedom this world has. Too long these uzbeks of evil have lived in our lands, taken our money, eaten our food. The time has come to expel them. We will take the fight to them, we will fight them in their hovels, we will fight them in their warrens, we will fight them on the steppes, we will fight them in their brothels, we will never surrender. The time has come to remove the scourge. Remember when they kill one Tatar it is a tragedy, when we kill a million uzbeks it is a damned good statistic"
And so the uzbek issue was at last dealt with competently
The uzbek world following the deportation of those lucky enough to survive
Chigakka's efforts were largely successful but the brutality of them shocked many in the Horde, even those use to beheading and there was some condemnation of the tactics.
News of the efforts soon spread beyond the Horde. Perhaps it this and a fear for a similar thing happening to the Ugrics of Kexholm that motivated to Sweden to make the declaration of war in the winter of 1665.
In true Swedish fashion the invasion came swiftly in the middle of winter. Some considered this to be a tactic to reduce casualties to the Horde by having their army freeze to death beforehand, but most just thought it further proof of Swedish stupidity.
As usual the subtleties of invading when there is no snow escape the Swedish commanders
Meanwhile the last of the uzbek insurgents were tidied up
The remnants of the uzbek people
The Northern front was relatively quiet as Chigakka let the snow and ice do his armies job. But the same couldn't be said for much further south. Apparently Fars was high on Sweden's hitlist.
Fars must have pissed off those Swedish big time
And that's when it got personal. No way would the Persians sit back and let such an insult pass them by. They quickly headed north for some revenge on the Scandinavian weirdos.
Out for revenge
Throughout 1666 both Kexholm and Karelia were lost to the Swedish. Their next attempt at Olonets was repulsed easily and then pushed back into Kexholm where a total of thirty thousand Swedes were massacred in true Ulugh fashion. With Kexholm recaptured it was on into Finland virtually unopposed.
Too easy, clearly the Swedes didn't think this through

So is Urst Urt now still uzbek?
And won't they declare uzbekistan(note my ommision of the capital u) in Cia... whatever (names become quickly irrelevant when somehow connected to uzbeks) ?

Be nice to the poor Swedes.
Haha, stupid Sweden. Where does your built in advantage get you against the Horde?
I hope you realise that you gave me hickups reading this latest update.
A real warm Uzbek welcome to great Khan Chigakka and then he deports the Uzbeks to the New World. I'm amazed so many Uzbeks managed to swim all that way, but there are some compensations for being used as beasts of burden. Some, took the Khans asvice and now live in rabbit warrens in Ust Urt. The Swedish invasion arrived just in time to prevent Chigakka disbanding some of his army and settling Tartars in the glorious home of the Uzbeks. Uzbeks everywhere praise Swedish credentials in helping to preserve endangered species everywhere. In time the Uzbeks in New Uzbek will free themselves from the Tartar yoke and establish a new territory. Those in Ust Urt are on borrowed time - the rabbits want their warrens back.

One of the main irritants with the AI in EU II was its brain dead approach to besieging a province with way over the support limit. I'm praying that EU III resolves that problem. Anyway that was a creative way to solve the Uzbek problem.![]()

Careful of the Uzbek Kaganate revolting in Caniapiscau, of course...
Now, the Barbarians should lose some territory. But something bad now would be a Polish declaration of war, maybe...

And I have to wonder - how much of the Fars army actually made it to Sweden alive?![]()
I say that for the next few colonies uzbeks become the main populace to show the uzbeks that are left are moving. Then they revolt and form Uzbekistan in the Far East or Ennedica. And Uzbekistan is not tied to a specific region but rather to the uzbek people.![]()

That's a bit far off. I think the next people who will just keep on revolting are the Ugrics up north - after the Horde takes some more Ugric land from Sweden.

Yeah, I wonder the same thing...how many persians actually survived the trip? Final solution of the Uzbeks, eh? Somehow I have a feeling that we still haven't heard the last of them. No matter what, they seem to be like rats...You can't kill all of them...Pity that....I like the clay figures for practice...since they are so close to Uzbeks they are the perfect targets to practice upon.
Yes, the Swedes did a stupid thing. Attacking in winter! They apparently thought General Winter was their friend, when in fact it is the ally of the Horde. Well live and learn...or in their case, freeze and die....![]()
