Inevitable Defeat - Slovakia '44 - The award winning characters Tiso and Tuka attempt to save Slovakia from defeat and destruction. It probably wont end well. It definitely did win an AARland Choice Comedy Award. Now Back from the Dead and updating.
The Butterfly Effect: A British AAR - The finest slower-than-real-time British AAR on the board.
Furious Vengeance - A 1944 UK AAR - My actual best work - Winner of the 2009 Iron HeAARt Award

No objections I see, therefore I nominate Davout as fan of the week. Through his combination of loyalty in the face of unreasonable delays, endless (ish) patience as new ideas supplant promised updates and dogged cheer leading for the armoured appreciation association he's been an excellent commentator on the Butterfly Effect and doubtless elsewhere as well.
So in the name of tanks and all that is armoured on land I pass the award onto Davout!

Boer War AAR: Joe’s War- a Boer War AAR
Thank you, El Pip. I am honoured by your blatant attempt to stop me nagging about the tank updates. I am also honoured to follow in the footsteps of my fellow tanker, Nathan_Madien.
Since I have an average of only 0.08 posts per day over 9 and a half years in this forum, I am far from a model fan. Unfortunately, as is a common lament, there is too little time and too many excellent AAR’s to read , let alone comment on, so I tend to stick to a select few at a time and follow them to the bitter end.
I have read many great AAR’s over those years and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the authors, including many of you who have responded here, for the hours of entertainment and enlightenment which you have provided. Seeing your names here evokes many happy memories of tales long past.
I believe that it is also a credit to the quality of the games produced by Paradox that they lend themselves so readily to such rich storylines and varied styles.
I also wish to thank the learned fans who have contributed comments to the AAR’s with their lively discussions and bonhomie. Possibly through good fortune, but more likely a reflection of the fact that the people who come here are gamers who take their history and gameplay seriously, I have not seen any of the flame wars that I occasionally encounter in other fora. And I have learnt more about naval and aircraft porn from than I would care to see in a lifetime. The tank porn, on the other hand, is sadly lacking.
Finally, I would particularly like to thank canonized for cajoling me to first comment on Timelines those many years ago. Your friendliness and tireless efforts with your magnus opus are greatly appreciated. My only regret is that they seem to have done away with the function which allowed you to see who the lurkers are who are reading a thread at any one time so that other reluctant watchers can be coaxed forward into the light.
