Still looking for the Brit ship name posts, but I've started renaming some CSA divisions. Is there currently any chance that they'll survive long enough to build a proper army? I've got most of the army names down, but I haven't done many of the specialized infantry types, or the ships. I assume that they won't really be using these much. Basically, will 150 infantry/garrisons, about 15 cavalry, 85 mech/mot, about 20 of both armors, 25 militia, and 8 par/mtn/mar names be enough, and will they need a navy? I can use these parameters for the Union State as well. Califronia should have correct names though. After that, I think I'll look at commie Europe. Oh, also, I designated a few of the inf and militia as "international". That won't conflict with the storyline, will it?

The names are definitely needed here, as the American Syndicalists should be able to survive long enough to build a proper army (although getting them to do so in the game is a bit more tricky!). The numbers you're giving should be enough (and I'm sure other people can contribute too), so post whatever you come up with in the relevant subforum section.

(I actually started a thread on this a while ago, here: http://s11.invisionfree.com/Kaiserreich/index.php?showtopic=104 - it didn't really take off though - :D )

did you change the .eug to 0_Kaiserreich.eug not have
Title = "0_Kaiserreich" in there

that is what you do

Yep, actually tried both, and still nothing.

Anyway, my eternal gratitude will go to anyone who actually get the Kaiserreich scenario to appear first, and send me the correct files that I can just copy and paste!

Posted. Do you know how much time you could have saved by calling it the Confederated SA instead of Combined?

Checked them out - looking very good!

I think there is a way you can get units recruited from certain provinces to have specific names (so the 17th ‘Ol' Kentuck’ Division for example can actually be from Kentucky), but I'll have to look into this a bit further.

( :D And we particularly like the 61st ‘Sarmatians’ Division!)

I actually slipped up there, as Kentucky is not actually in the CSA. :D I guess a brigade or two from Kentucky could cross the Ohio and declare themselves "Ol' Kentuck", with a division of other volunteers formed around it.

In that vein, couldn't an event be made for the syndicalist bloc sending aid to the CSA? It could be modelled off the SCW aid events, but with some tag and description changes. This could trigger increased Canadian interference the war.

And one small thing: New Orleans is a rather strange place for the Union State capital. Its a cultural city, sure, but Houston or Dallas are more "workable", if you get what I mean. But that might be my Texan bias.

try 0_1936

Okay I had problems with this MOD before and fixed it. But after getting the Beta it's not working. Everytime I try to start secnario the thing says it has a problem with the scenario file or somethign alogn those lines? What did I do wrong?

You did start the Kaiserreich scenario down the list, and not the 1936 scenario, didn't you? >.<

Ludenburg said:
Yes I did, however it refuses to read the scenario and no amount of tinkering on my part has made it go away.

Now added to first page:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure your HOI2 is patched to 1.3b (if not, error messages will appear on loadup), and that you select the Kaiserreich scenario at the bottom of the list.

New Orleans is the capital as it's Huey Long's power base, and a long way from the frontlines. Could possibly be a capital change event though for them at some point though.

I think there already is some sort of Canadian intervention events, and interference by other Syndicalist powers in support of the CSA is definitely planned.

Ok, I found the scenerio but It starts from 1936 and there are still some WW2 research teams(Werner von Braun), generals and ministers!

Yep, that's normal - I haven't changed all the tech teams and ministers.

That makes sense. I don't know much about Huey Long and his Merrie Men.

I do have some ideas for Syndicalist-CSA relations. The Synd events could have 3 options: no support, private support, and public support, a la the VIP Crarlist Spain events. Private would just give money and supplies, perhaps a 'volunteer' division or two. Public support could give several divisions and some blueprints as well, or even an alliance with France. The downside would be that N. France and Canada would use it as an excuse to swing America into their camp. If everyone was unlucky it could lead to an early trans-atlantic war. Private support would obviously be the preferred AI option.

America First Divisions! Didn't know where to post them. I'm hoping nobody gets to 24 militias.

those look good, some regular CSA divisons would be good but don't feel forced to do them. Also look at our forums for a place to put them/.
