:) np i'm not too fussed anyway. I think I'll wait for it to be really cheap ;)

It won't get any cheaper than that. And comeon, 20€ isn't that much. less than 60 ChickenMcNuggets.

Give it time, it'll go down ;) I spent £60 on music the other week. A far better purchase

Okay, I now have Doomsday. Perhaps we should have some sort of election to determine who should be General Secretary.

:D - I believe we'd need some candidates first!

Also, don't know if people know about this yet but....

http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/pisovisio/index.html (Go to 'Descargas' and "Eventmaker"....)

Just downloaded this, and it looks like an excellent utility to make HOI2 events, with quite clear instructions and guidelines attached. So, now people have no excuses for not turning all of their excellent ideas into useable events, with minimal pain or fuss - Huzzah!

Awesome, now I can make events too :D

Hi all! I downloaded this mod and played it till september 1942, its a bit dull. I am playing with Austria. When 1937 events unfolded only Croatia and Bohmen left standing. I declared war on Croatia and took Bohmens german speaking provinces. After that I conquered Romania to get the oil and then I took Bohmen. Now nothing is happening. I have the second strongest industry in the world, just behind Germany. CSA has all of USA. Are there any events that will start the world war?

Not really yet. Sorry, but it is only in the Alpha stage at the moment. When future versions are released, you'll see more events past 1940. :)

Is the any program which can test my event? I don't know why but my event doesnt works in the game. Doesnt even show up when i use the "event xxxx" command in the console. :/

I dont know why. I have written tons of event worked correctly. So i really dont know what is the problem.

Asian states

Hello all i've been an avid reader of the forums but due to certain restrictions on my time (college) i have'nt been able to contribute to any projects. However with summer fast approaching i am very much available. My area of expertise lies in East Asia and a revived Qing Empire caught my eye. I wonder though if it would be possible for someone to give me the general situation in East Asia as the outline was pretty vague and i'd rather not search page by in this labyrinth like thread.

The only program which exists is a not very useful and often innacurate bracket checker - the best thing to do is to post the event here, so it can be checked for potential problems.

:D - Excellent! East Asia is an area which definitely needs some work, and there isn't much planned for the Qing Empire other than what's outlined in the first post.

To offset the labyrinthine nature of this thread, we've got the new subforum at http://s11.invisionfree.com/Kaiserreich/index.php , which I'm in the process of organising, so feel free to make any more suggestions there in the China section.

Okay, gone through the thread (up to page 60 or so....) and pulled out as much useful information and decided features/plans as I possibly could, which is now all in the subforum in stickied threads.

However, I can't find the SPD preview I made, so if anyone can tell me which page it's on, that would be very good!

Agreed! finally time to spread the chaos which resides within my head ^^
thanks sarmatia!

This program should be stickied somewhere.

It was definitely done, and I even saw it this afternoon, but lost it again!

Yep, you are right, it is somewhere. I even know the question i asked... 'why is the SPD an own country?' ^^

I do not know the answer though :D

#### KAISERREICH SYNDICALIST ATMOSPHERE PACK 1.0

http://rapidshare.de/files/19042431/Kaiser...herics.zip.html
(61.25MB, so probably for broadband people only!)

To use:

1) Unzip folder to the HOI2\MODS directory (so it's all in a new subfolder called 'Kaiserreich - Syndicalist Atmospherics').
2) Load up 'Kaiserreich' normally using JSGME
3) Load up 'Kaiserreich - Syndicalist Atmospherics' - it will tell you it will overwrite some files -> Say 'Yes' to this

As the music files and graphics screens are overwritten by this addition, if you want to back to the original ones, you have to deactivate everything and then load up the 'Kaiserreich' scenario files again.

***

Finally remembered to post this after I've had it on my hard-drive for the past two months!

What this does is adds a completely new soundtrack (about 2 hours long, all from publically available sources on the net...) to put you in a Euro-revolutionary, Syndicalist mood. Plus a new load screen.

Obviously finding real Syndicalist music is a tad difficult (apart from a few Spanish Civil War songs, and the contents of te IWW 'Little Red Songbook'...), so most of this is a mixture of Italian, British, French, American and German socialist songs from the 1920s and '30s (with a few Hungarian, Russian and Yiddish ones too...). As European lefties in this period had a tendency to recycle tunes anyway, this probably isn't much of a problem. You just need to ignore all the references to Lenin, Stalin and Soviets (which feature prominently in the title song...)

As this is the first release, any suggestions or songs would be very good - I'm still looking for good and non-copyrighted versions of Ca Ira and Solidarity Forever, for example. And if there's an overwhelming consensus of hatred for any of the songs (I'm not too sure about the version of 'Joe Hill', for example....), they can be eliminated.
