Oooohhhh very good! Reminds me of my Spanish Civil War propaganda collection currently abandoned back in the UK...

Speaking of which, can we have this as flag, shield, counter, etc:

And 'scw20.jpg' is actually quite a famous picture, so a bigger version shouldn't be too difficult to find....

This is probably more suited to the Photoshop thread but I could not resist. After his 70's disco comeback, Wolfi thrills teens across the globe with his starring role in Saturday Night Fever . . .

:eek: - By Jingo! That's even more terrifying than the Mahakala!

Oh yes, just remembered - can someone attempt to locate some pictures (even better if they're converted into event image format!) of the following:

* Chinese officials (preferably dodgy looking)
* Chinese militias/gangs (criminal/semi-criminal)
* Chinese labour demonstrations
* Impoverished Chinese peasants
* Oriental port and street scenes

Etc.....

Should Menshevik Gerogia use the symbols of the russians revolution, or...?

Good, but can we have a picture of Beria (Georgian HoG in 'All the Russias', eg. http://www.artukraine.com/postcards/icons/sl_beria.jpg) instead of the guy with the beard?

EDIT: :eek: Ah - Muslim tiles for Georgia - one of the historic centres of Orthodox Christianity? Probably not allowed!

Well, they seem to reflect the architecture of the area . . . if you want a different texture I can change them. That guy is Noe Zhordania who was head of the Democratic Republic of Georgia from 1918-1921. How did Beria get involved? :) I'll see if I can find a good pick of him. The other pic are Georgian Menshevik Guards according to the website . . .

Goodgood - many thanks! Beria was from Georgia originally, and the storyline in 'All the Russias' has him return home following the failed Bolshevik Revolution, where he spent the 1920s and 30s eliminating all the democrats...

Chinese officials (preferably dodgy looking)

What *exactly* are you going to do with pictures of dodgy chinese officials?

turn them into event piccies of course. :D

What you should be asking is what events he has in mind for them.

The events I have just written allowing for a possible Triad takeover of the Legation Cities and a good chunk of AlgOstAsien GmbH, of course!

I forgot about the failed Revolution . . . Will those tiles be ok? Maybe Beria is using the former Sultan's palace . . . :D

Okay, I'm a bit confused here:

The Algots and the Legation Cities are different, right? What exactly is the difference (If I recall correctly the Algots was a german "puppet" akin to the british East-India company with holdings mostly in China but in some other areas....) But what exactly are the Legation Cities? "Independent" european enclaves in China? (Hong Kong, Shanghai, what else?) Are they under the Algots or directly under Germany or what?

Hi, first i would like to congratulate you to this excellent mod.
Second: excuse my bad english :rolleyes:

I have some ideas to make southamerica more interesting:

Argentina: should follow imperialistic goals with help from germany.

In case of that Venezuela, Ecuador, Kolumbia should get the chance to form a new Großkolumbien like in 1828 together with Peru.

Bolivia: should be divided between Großkolumbien and Argentina in the case that Großkolumbien would be established.

Brasil: should have the opotunity to deside what to do: 1) assist Großkolumbien 2) assist Argentina 3) behave neutral and very issolated

The storyline in Asia has been developed a bit without me telling anyone: AlgOstAsien is the German puppet, controlling most of Southern China. However, the most strategically important Treaty Ports and the abandoned British colony of Hong Kong were granted statutes of autonomy in the 1920s, guaranteed by the major interested powers (eg. Germany, Japan, USA, and Canada), and bound into a loose political federation for mutual protection and assistance. Their 'Government' is controlled by a mixture of local Chinese bosses and displaced Europeans, particularly former colonial administrators. As such, they're independant and a bit vulnerable, but also conduits for smuggling and all sorts of other illicit activities into the rest of China.

Yeah, they should be fine - I'm sure no-one will notice (And I didn't until you mentioned it!)
