I have a question. I'm playing as CoF, and Mitteleuropa is now a combination of the German/Austrian/Ottoman blocs. What would you say my chances for victory are (I outnumber each country individually in the division count, Germany just by a few, 105-102 or so)?

No. The events use KR tags for all kinds of stuff, like ministers, pictures and whatnot. Not to mention HOI2 doesn't even have the tags for all the custom countries the mod uses.Originally Posted by Keith101

Hello guys I love this mod. Started out as Japan the night before and could not stop playing until 6 in the morning!
Unfortunately, after 2-3 years in game I kept getting errors (something about can not find JAP AI file) and today I realized most of my saves were corrupted. SO i reinstalled (over arma1.2) this time i used JSGME method. However I am afraid my game may still be bugged. As I send a spy to myself and my "current level" goes from 0 to 711323680.

If this is a bug I don't want to play and waste my time again. Is there a better way to install? like over arma 1.3a (I also tried 1.3b and that failed)

I got doomsday( I won't lie, it was a torrent ) and i installed it, patch 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 and 1.3a and I tried playing it but it keeps on saying critical error Escort Carrier not found or something like that.
Also when Russia claims ALL the territories of Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Alash Orda not all of their territories are included. Also you get an event for taking Turkmenistan but no cores.
I *think* I had this problem to but what fixed it for me was to deactivate the mod, play the vanilla game for a bit, and then reactivate kaiserreich.

2. I've had this problem. It's to do with an AI file switch for CYN (yunnan I think) not ever really understood why. There appears to be a war trigger which fires and makes it burp - its a major problem - I am playing on Doomsday here btw so yes... not good :/

@MercZ Thanks for the suggestions, I unloaded the mod payed a little with vanila, sent spies, saved a few games. Reverted back to Kaiser by JSGME sent spy, and the same bug appeared.

2a. So.... is there a way around it? after that error when my saves got corrupted the load progress bar would freeze. I guess what i am asking is if this mod is stable enough to be playable for at least 8-10 years. I cant wait to try rebuilding my glorious Japanese colonial empire. But if it will crash again in 2 years i rather not waste my time.
2b. Your playing the game with only doomsday? is it better without arama? on the front page from what i gather it is stated that this mod is for arma1.2-1.3b only.

Countries like Hungary (after annexing Croatia), United Kingdom (post-liberation) and American Union State (I'm sure there are many more countries) will never produce any ships during the entire game. They'll continue producing infantry, but they'll never produce any naval units whatsoever.

Hey KR team, thank you very much for creating such an interesting and addicting twist on HOI. I have some questions/statements that i hope can be answered/explained if you please. Some may have been asked before, sorry.
1. How come there is no Syndicalism in China and Japan? It would be interesting if they gained power in Asia either as allies of the Commune of France or maybe independents from the Internationale.
2. The revolts of some states such as: Korea, Vietnam, and the Turag Confederation are always crushed. I wish they would have more of a chance to stand on there own or have events so they can have intervention for example, the Commune of France sends troops to Vietnam.
3. In India, the state of Bengal and the Princely Federation mostly stand little or no chance against Delhi which benefits greatly from being in the Entente. Dehli should be out of the Entente so that the three India's can truely be a three way struggle.
4. I think it would be interesting to see a Japanese Civil War
5. In games playing as Russia, if you try to claim the lands of the former empire, you have little cores and high partisan activity. How come some areas like in Central Asia do not recieve cores, but when your Soviet Russia you can recieve all of the cores?
6. Might be an interesting if Africa where African states were suddenly to revolt against Mittelafrika and Africa could become an empire or states independent of Europe.
7. If Canada were to invade the US during the Civil War, would be interesting if there was an event for New England to reclaim the territory of the 13 colonies.
8. How come Carlist Spain has such weak and little Tech teams?
9. The Qing Empire, Republican China, Mongolia, and AOG should have an event to get more air and naval leaders.
10. Are there any events to which to create an Islamic empire as Egypt of Hejaj?

Hi KR team, I have suggestions concerning events for the KR. I have been playing the beta and the 1.0 version for some time and haven’t found any post on that issues. Maybe You will find it useful:
- Defeating Communards with Austria there is no possible way to free France (like you do have in the Germany wins over Commies event) or make a deal with the nationals. Many of You play in ‘grab as much as you can’ way but from reality point of view I see no political reason to directly incorporate France to Habsburg empire. I suggest making a more general event on communards failure i.e. with dynasty election or new Wiena congress.
- There are also to little events concerning Poland and its neighbors. Many of you pointed that out. Still I can not understand that the political situation in Poland in 1936 Kaisserreich is that from early 1918 in reality. There is no point in having ‘regent council’ with Radziwill when there are so many possible options to choose. In fat it is not clear what kind of political system it is. Let’s make elections or en event binding the annexation of Galizien with Habsbourg king.
There should be also a possibility to reenact Kingdom of Poland as a tsar Russia puppet (the 1830’s style).
- In the treaty of Lomza chain of events there is a serious misconception. With no hard feelings, but I can see no point for Poland to be annexed by Lithuania. In the end It was Poland in history that dominated Rzeczpospolita state and not the other way round. I would expand the negotiations to different options – with puppeting each other or creating the whole new state (that would presumably lead to conflict with white Ruthenia and Ukraine) and seriously shaken the relations with Germany and Austria. So there is a nice ground for operations. The 20’s and 30’s politics in Poland were so spread that I see possibilities of cooperation with most of powers from Russia, through National France, Communards to Cralists.
- Also I am against using the same political figures of Polish Stalinists as Polish syndies or bolsheviks. The most of real ideological Polish communists were executed in Moscow in 1937 the ones form 1944 were only OGPU and NKVD driven puppets.
- Playing With the Union of Britain, when you crack the Royalists in Canada till 1938 (what in my opinion is the best strategy) and create commie Canada state you will still face the Iceland crisis with royalists of Canada even they do not exist anymore.
- Playing with Soviets you will find that there is no way to research a land doctrine since the Russian event on the doctrines is still to come. Even after 1939 no event concerning soviet doctrines occur.
Dear, Ladies and Gentleman.
I am happy to report that after endless installings and uninstallings I have been able to find a solution to the spy bug (and possibly other game crashing bugs). Kaiserreinch is NOT compatible with Arma 1.2 (as advertised) nor does it seem to work with Arma 1.3b2. It is however compatible with Arma1.3b1 or armageddon1.3 beta Jan 15 2009 DVJN. Once I installed over this version the spy bug disappeared, i will report any other bug i find.
i have doomsday installed all new versions, and i'm downloading a torrent for armageddon. Now your telling me that kaisereich isn't comaptible with Armageddon 1.2?
ok, I can play kaisereich now! except i have a problem. during the game it froze and this message said, critical error, couldn't open ai file SOV_MINOR_ATTACK or something like that, know the problem?
