France is preparing for the battle against Germany wich has a double as large population. Plus they have a relatively planned ecomomy, so I think they're already in a pretty mobilized state.

It just seems stupid to give a bonus out of the blue without any drawbacks which other countries can't get just because they're not socialists/syndicalists.

In OTL the USSR was a pretty mobilized state too with women in the military and they didn't have economic penalties for that. Why France should have it? And Britain? And Sicily? And Bengal? And Mexico? And Center America? And Georgia?

Give the other countries their own bonuses. :p

PS: The Center America has been reworked? The last time I saw it the only chance to happen with an event of Honduras, and when you play has Center America, this sucks.

I hope that odd event chain with Centroamerica will be changed. It makes no sense that Syndicalist Mexico invades Syndicalist Centroamerica to defend Paternal Autocrat Honduras. In war between Honduras and Centroamerica, Mexico should help Syndicalists.
 
Why won't anybody declare war on me? Playing a paternal autocrat(now national populist) USA with MacArthur leading. I have conquered all of the Americas. Philippines, Australia, UoB, Nationalist France, Ireland and Iceland among others. My belligerence is around 330. I keep hoping some of the other big nations will team up against me. It is 1947, I am taking my time. No takers though :(
 
Just been playing a game as Russia.
Still using Arm 1.3b as most things seem to be running ok.

got an Event with an option to change the government (march '39 i think)
changed to Soviet Russia.

All the current tech teams were then removed, but the techs they were researching stayed yellow and i was unable to re-research them.

The only way around this was to go back to an old save and cancel the research before changing government and then starting again. However this was quite a disadvantage as most of the research was almost done.

I guess this has to do with the fact that when the country changes from Russia to Soviet Russia the tech teams are mostly changed as well.

When it changes to Soviet Russia, that bug happens, every time. All you can do is cancel all research between the government change and the switch to Soviet Russia. If you have an autosave from before the change, good for you. If not... that's a very annoying bug.

Unfortunately it is a bug we can do nothing about. The only thing we can do is put a warning in the event-text, just as Zauberfloete did with his Austria-Hungary-events.

I think so. The funny thing is that Soviet is the only AI nation that sends spies so it evens out xD

P.S: I haven't edited anything regarding the original game itself or the mod. Also, this error doesn't happen after a particular event, it's completely random. Can you please help??

Any crashes to desktop are bugs in the game itself, not the Mod. We can't help you with it, sorry. Either download the latest patch or post a message at a tech forum.
 
The result of my adding in a Chinese Soviet Republic: http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/6673/screensave15.png (it replaces Québec. Should definitely have replaced Republican China instead, but at the time the idea completely slipped my mind, and later... I was lazy?)

They currently have cores on (and own) all of the Qing Empire's provinces. May add cores on AlgOstAsien later, but they're not puppeted, and I would really, really not like China dragging me into a war with Germany while most of my troops are on the total other end of the country.

I'm pretty sure there are no duplicate ministers with Shanqing, but I haven't thoroughly checked. My minister pics don't have the white border, either, but that's not a big deal.

EDIT: Actually, I just noticed that screenshot clearly says they have claims on Germany and AlgOstAsien... Didn't do that on purpose, but oh well.

No, you will need Arma 1.2 or better to play Kaiserreich.

I'm not sure if this has been noted before, but with the skins, one of Milites has the wrong tag (the Shangqing Tianguo skin overwrites the Allgemeine Ostasiatische Gesellschaft instead).

The problem is known to us. I hope to repair it in the next release.

AFAIK, it's a tag issue, as HoI2 Doomsday lacks enough of them.
There are probably other things as well.
 
I noticed that Carlist Spain often invites National France into Catholic alliance. In some cases, Xavier gets cores on entire France and sometimes he even becomes HoS of National France. This leads to odd outcome of the story, where Carlists take French mainland, if they are victorious, while National France that has stronger claimes on mainland, stays in Africa.

Here's my suggestion: If National France accepts invitation into Catholic alliance and leaves Entente, why don't you make possible unification of Carlist Spain and French exiles? French provisional exiled republic changes into kingdom(National France anexes Carlist Spain while Xavier becomes HoS of NatFrance).

What's the point of idea? Well, we all know how hard it is to retake French mainland with National France? If France gets strong position in continental Spain, conquest/liberation of France would be easier.

But unification of Spain and France must happen only if France joins Catholic bloc. If they stay in Entente, they must liberate their mainland with help of Canada/USA/democratic Russia. You should also keep chance where France joins Mitteleuropa after German anexation of Commune. In this case, mainland France is given to NatFrance as reward for joining Mitteleuropa.

As you see, National France has many options and is interesting nation to play. Those options are mainly already included in current version, my suggestion is only unification of Spain and France(National France inherits Carlists Spain, Xavier is King of France and everyone are happy). Isn't unification of Spain and France better option than Carlist cores on France?
