I just played as Canada for many hours and utterly failed to defeat the Union Brits. I finally got to the point where I military controlled the Australians and shipped all of their marines over to Ireland (where I was launching my attacks) and I was still unable to make a beachhead even with frequent bombing and extended naval supremacy. Any tips for Canada?
I love the new Argentinian territories. Did you know that they once were our? Both Uruguay and Paraguay once were part of the "Provincias Unidas del Rio de La Plata" (Which was once our name). Uruguay was once "La Banda Oriental" (And today is "Republica Oriental Del Uruguay"). The Falklands could have been demanded when the Central Powers won (You DID NOT forget to rename them to Malvinas, did you?). That sounds a lot more wise than saying "we declare war" and sending in a bunch of guys on their own, whiout having planned the war. Also Britain could have been forced to secede them under German pressure (Also at the time we had good relations with them).

Tottaly. They could have atleast made that you switch nations or something (Change tag, release Canada as a free nation). If you are doing it only for the satisfaction of reclaiming UK, go for it. If you are doing it as the stepping stone of defeating the Germans or the French, you can pretty much quit the game.
You're supposed to then switch over into the UK. Why would Canada be above the UK?![]()
On a related note, I would humbly ask the team to consider adding the following Entente events:
An event with the option for Canada not to release New England, and instead hold on to it. If AUS, CSA, or MacCarthy USA controls the former US, then Canada gets cores on Alaska and New England. If Democratic USA wins, Canada will incur massive penalties for keeping New England, and to a lesser extent, Alaska.
Also, an event after the liberation of the UK by Canada: The Future of the British Empire.
This event would determine the political structure of the empire and how centralised, Anglocentric, Ethnocentric, Racist, Tolerent, inclusive, etc., it would be. It could range from one united empire, to the dissolution of the empire as political structure. I detailed one option earler, if you are interested, I could elabourate.
Finally, an event giving Nationalist France it's provinces if an ally annexes CoF. I don't think such an event is in place, though it may be.
Oh, and you've already got a great mod, probably the best I've ever played, so thank you for that.![]()
I succeeded yesterday, actually. What actually happened was I didn't pay attention for a while, since I was trying to figure out a way to get Delhi to help me out, and the Brits launched an amphibious invasion of Ireland, landing maybe 15 divs. I wiped them out no problem with my up to date tanks, etc. Then I launched an amphibious invasion and won since they didn't have an army to reinforce the coast with. War in Britain was over within two months of the beachead.. then I released the UK and started the game as them. Here are my problems with this arrangement:
1) UK is not the leader of the alliance (Canada is)
2) UK or Canada did not inherit syndicalist navy (may be intentional, don't know)
3) UK has 3 land leaders, no naval leaders, no air leaders. This greatly restricts my options! Can anyone tell me how I could just add leaders to my game? Without them, it's very difficult to play.
I really wish there was a way that as UK I could inherit/annex Canada and rule them both as the same country. It makes sense to me that this would be the arrangement- that really, the royalists would change their flag and move the capital to Canada. Then later on, possibly release Canada as a puppet.
The UK events have not been thoroughly tested yet, if anyone wants to have a go at it they are free to do so, right now we only have three people working parttime on the mod!!!
Right now our goal is not to add new events, but to make this mod stable and bugfree!
I do know about New England event, UK liberation, national france etc. events, but for now they are not a piority for the next release, but for further releases after that, there might be some new shiny events and other stuffs!
And after it's stable and bug free focus on Canada-UK and UoB.
I might try to help you if theres only 3 of you but my skills in modding are limited.

Another bug:
Unitnames of escort fighters should be removed because when in arma you build bombers with escort fighters, the air wing gets name of escort fighter instead of bomber.

One thing bothering me, is the German flag. The flag should be the same as the German ww2 flag. The current flag is the navy flag of Germany in ww1. That should be fixed. If that flag was used just in order to make a change to the flag, then you could also use the original German flag with a Prussian eagle on it or the same flag as the Grosser Generalstab uses.
It would be great if those parties would acctualy do something:
-The Socialdemocrats: Germany becomes a (more) leftist government and a shifts towards central planning economy, which could eventualy even lead to a civil war.- Syndicalist
-The IHK Mideurope (If im not wrong IHK stands for Industrie und Handelskammer): The party would work towards a European coprosperty zone, which would primary benefit the economy of Germany and could later lead to the creation of something like an EU.- Anarcho liberal
-The Progressive people's party (Hope thats the correct translation): Demilitarization and a free market economy. Turning Germany into a liberal democracy with no Kaiser as the leader of the state.- Liberal
-The Centerparty: Keeping the status quo, should be taken if the player finds the current germany fine as it is without any reforms - Center
-Ständischer Verbund: Keeping the Kaiser in power, giving him even more power and initate reforms to create the original Prussian Kassereich. - Conservative
-The Greater Germany party: Works towards uniting all the existing German lands (Austria, Bohemia and maybe parts of Switzerland).- Reactoinary
-Grosser generalstab should be replaced by a nationalist party- German People's Union or National Democratic Party of Germany or NPPGGR (Nationalist populist party of the greater German Reich- for something more original): That party would focus on getting new German lands in the East as Hitler wanted (The baltics, Poland,...). - National populist
If a party would sieze total control, Germany could change its Tag to that party and inheirt all the other parties.

@ Delex, the Ständischer Verbund is an alliance between the conservative protestant parties and the Prussian Junkers. They are the backbone of the Kaiserreich. Centre, or Zentrum, was a catholic conservative party. Yet you're ideas sound interesting.
@ Davisx3m, several of us are still working on events for a future version, feel free to join us at the forum. But like Zauberfloete said, The focus for 1.0 is on bugfixing.
