I'm having trouble with a certain event.. when the USA releases Puerto Rico because of the nationalist movement it automatically crashes back to my desktop. Also the West Coast breaks a bit later so that could also be the problem. It doesn't matter whether I play with the USA or any other country because I tried it with Russia. Please help ASAP because I want to enjoy the 2nd civil war soon.

What Mod version are you using? Version 1.1 should have a bugfix for that problem.

Yes, there are several event paths that lead to war. The CoF-Germany conflict does not always happen, it's only the most probable scenario.

Imbued with suicidal revolutionary fervor the French syndicalists will go to war over Alsace-Lorraine in late 1939 regardless of the correlation of forces. Namur and Freiburg seems to be their favoured places for self-immolation.

Don't worry, we know about this. North and South Italy share quite many leaders and ministers. We've never had time to sort through the files properly, and divide them.

The mod, while working with Armageddon, was planned for Doomsday, which has no naval brigades, except for CVs.

A little less aggressive AI perhaps. Attacking lvl 5 fortifications at 2:1 odds is overdoing even Col. Grandmaison a little.

I agree. Germany should be able to install some sort of a loyal puppet in metropolitan France. Perhaps restore the French monarchy, something like that.

I am playing as Germany, I defeated the Commune of France and annexed it, but I can only release the Commune, which is kinda unreal. (imagine that: a monarchist conservative country ruled by some German aristocrat named Commune of France ).

Also, there is a problem with the Union of Britain surrender event. It's named "partitioning of Germany" (I have no idea why), and the 1st and the 3rd options have the same result (Scotland, Wales and England get independent and all German troops currently stationed in Britain are lost, which is VERY annoying).

EDIT: BTW, I don't know if it is a bug, but the Combined Syndicates of America (after they've driven the US forces from the mainland US) keep all their land forces in Chicago, 250 divisions or so. I am tempted to erase them with a few nukes, but that would be too easy I guess.

An old guard remove event would be good for Germany. Or can one of the existent be used? Austria lacks leaders for their army, especially if they become a 2xx IC country through events. The tech teams of the other countries are not taken over as well if the option is enabled and the countries are inherited by Austriy via Ausgleich.

I bought Doomsday and Armageddon the other day, first taste of WW2 action since HoI2 1.3. Anyhow, I'm playing Kaiserreich latest version. A great mod. But now, in late 1939, I get constant CTDs. They always happen after the fall of the Mongolian capital event, but I don't know if that's the problem. I do know that I'd very much like to continue my game though. Together with Germany & co I'm doing some great progress.

OK, since I don't want to wait until the next patch is released, I corrected few errors in the "revolt.txt" file.

1) I made it possible to release Neutral France manually.
- If I understand it correctly, this nation should be estabilished as a puppet state in France in case of German victory. Unfortunately, in my game, I annexed France before the CoF surrender event fired, so this nation wasn't created. I had to either occupy whole France or release the Commune of France again.
- If you release France this way, it loses Brest and Corsica to Germany.

2) Italian Federation can also be released manually
- After I annexed the Italian Federation, I found out I couldn't release it again. It was kinda puzzling, but it turned out that there was a mistake in the revolt.txt file - their capital was supposed to be in Austria The mistake (I hope it was a mistake) is now corrected and you can release the country without problems now.
- It loses cores in the two French provinces (Grenoble and Nice)

3) Alternatively, you can release the Republic of Sicilies instead
- They get all the provinces the Italian Federation does, but their capital is set to be in Naples
