When trying it in DD I found that the mod had "taken over" alll the existing scenarios. (Thus the 1936 scenario had the historical map and OOBs and gov'ts with only teh new graphics).

But when I "chated" and pasted the Kaiserrreich 1936.eug file in the save files it worked as it should. And it is a really fascinating gaming experience.

You don't need to do that at all. There is a seperate Kaiserreich scenario in the scenario list.
 
Got an error when trying to play, it happens selecting any country after pressing the play button...
it says: unknown data defined... bla bla

I am running with version 1.01 with the tattered flag fix..

Is there so surrender events for USA, when defeating them as the Commies in the civil war? I have occipied every bit of the mainland, but they are still in controle of their islands...

Even tryed to fire it manually but it just wont fire.. :confused:

Edit: Is there some version control repository somwhere so that one could work with the 'bleeding edge' version?
 
Event question

I like the mod very much and played it yesterday with a friend via lan. We are Germany and Austria and are aliied from the beginning. Afaik there is an event which causes war between France and Germany in 1939 if Germany does not cede provinces, but it does not seem to fire, which may be caused by our alliance. I already looked in the event file, but was unable to locate this event. The syndicalist event files are empty btw, the version of the mod is 1.01. Does an alliance between Austria and Germany prohibit certain events from firing?
 
Is there anyone that has an event so that I, as CSA can annex a USA which I defeated in the civil war? I cant fire the event manually from the USA civil war event folder, even though I have occipied the mainland..

It shouldn't. I'm playing a game as Japan (unrelated), and I noticed that Germany and Austria allied very early on, probably 1936, towards the end. The war with France happened after Germany decided not to cede the Alsace-Lorraine region back to France. The event definitely exists, it might even be hidden in the Germany event file somewhere, I'm not sure. I hope that helped...
 
On the German-austrian alliance.... that shouldn't be an issue for leading to war

but I am pretty sure that there are several different event paths that lead to the war - some aim to start the war early and some wait till events in 1940 or so!

You've probably found yourself on the slow track and don't forget to start wars on your own!
 
Yes, there are several event paths that lead to war. The CoF-Germany conflict does not always happen, it's only the most probable scenario.
 
Hey, great little mod you guys have got, looking forward to seeing it develop. My questions related to the one above, it's 1940 and there's still no war, just was wondering which event causes the war?

Also, is there any chance of events for syndicist intervention in the Indian wars? Canadian tactical bombers chew up Bengals divisions before there's any real combat.

Many of KR events are random date, for example they happen between 1936 and 1939 and launch is made with offset 600. It's impossible say when event launches.

I'm having trouble with a certain event.. when the USA releases Puerto Rico because of the nationalist movement it automatically crashes back to my desktop. Also the West Coast breaks a bit later so that could also be the problem. It doesn't matter whether I play with the USA or any other country because I tried it with Russia. Please help ASAP because I want to enjoy the 2nd civil war soon. :)

Aha, thanks. France got crushed in August 39, now I wonder what we should do next, since the supposed archenemy is no more. I saw that there is a bitter peace event, maybe we go for Russia, though I think I have to do a naval landing or Weissruthenien and Ukraine get all the land, when I attack from their provinces.

Btw, which file has the major war events?
