When Com. of France is beaten as Germany, you get the option to release a French puppet. The first choice than independence shall be granted to France, but nothing happen. Is the event finished?

As for cores, long a go we agreed cores will be given grudgingly and represent where a state can expect to rule without any real problem - the CSA trying to pacify large areas of hostile country in the former US definately counts as a real problem.
 
I uninstalled the patch, because of that one line that's giving me trouble (not letting me load the game in the first place, if anyone has an updated version of it that works can you PLEASE upload it, thanks), and now the game always crashes for me at one specific point. It never did that for me pre-patch. :wacko:
 
I had a nasty problem occur when I beat and partioned Britain into Wales, Scotland and England. The newly created countries inherited ALL of the troops that are there, meaning England had taken control of my huge panzer army. I had a save nearby, so I went back and pulled out first, but you should definatly fix this.
 
Just got this. Didn't notice any files under that name as well. Can someone check and see if they're missing that or if they have it?
You can just hit ignore when an AI error pops up, but it'll be solved in the 1.0.2 patch coming out in a few days. The problem is the AI/switch folder wasnt included, just the AI/Kaiserreich and the AI/Kaiserreich/Switch folders so its a little confusing. Those files were leftover from ATR, so they were in the main folder which wasnt included.

Will this have any affect on gameplay?
 
Also, I too was not able to liberate a puppet French government after defeating the Commune. Perhaps add this to your list of things to fix?

Not really sure what's happening there - I'm relocating to Exeter tomorrow (well, in the "day" part of today) so i'll have to see if I can set up there (router and stuff), if I can, I might well push things and make them happen. If not, you're on your own :p

Claiming territory of a victorious sovereign seems a bit silly.
 
If Russia absorbs and releases alash orda it for some reason has a claim on a province in central china. I do not mean on the border. I mean central central china

In russsian transamur plebiscite the option to "send in the troops" runs the command = { type = belligerence which = RUS value = 5 }

twice.

both for expansionist and realpolitik. seems that it is a mistake otherwise the command would be command = { type = belligerence which = RUS value = 10 }

Maybe what was meant was increase in 5 belligerence and 5 dissent?

In any case. the event chain allows to escape this by first allowing plebiscite and then when trans-amur likely going to try to fudge the vote RUS can threaten to enter with troops. Japan would likely either fold or join in alliance and give permission to annex Mongolia and the Chinese turkestan.

I do nto truly understand this chain very well. or rather i do, but it makes little sense because it also happens if Japan is isolationist and then they can get into alliance with RUS and still have -200 relations while allowing to gobble up close to 30IC worth of territory by supporting those claims without anything in return.

It would be more interesting if Japan agreed to this on similar conditions as the Bojcko pact Russia gets with Japan. The initial situation is not wholly dissimilar.

Ukraine has German guarantee and once it turns socialist germany proposes a defense pat to russia in exchange for removing the guarantee.

While Japan trades mastery over TransAmur to Russia for an alliance.

But if Japan has a flag set to expand north into Russia that makes little sense.

If Japan is isolationist then it makes little sence

If Japan on the other hand is interested in the imperial china, the chinese german GMBH and vietnam..... then that is more interesting situation

So maybe an answer to this would be to have the event that allies Japan to Russia to trigger another event that would clear japanese flags that exist already and set Japan's interest to be into expanding into china and vietnam and consolidation of the Pacific Rim.

Another thing that is probably pretty important with this event chain where RUS and JAP ally .... The event needs to provision for an increase in relationship to at least 120.

Great mod! But i do have a question...
Whenever a nation turns into another (i.e. Russia--CCCP or USA--CSA) my working research teams seem to get stuck. They remain in place (in the 5 slots that is) but the Replace sign is li under them. What is worse, the doctrines they were researching prior to the change, remain yellowed in the tree (like they are being researched) and i cant research them any more. No matter how long i wait, no research gets completed and those research techs are practicaly incapacitated. In both cases, i had instantly saved and loaded when changing tags...Is this a bug or am i in fault?I do hope its the second case...And, btw, the "Tattered Flag" CtD happened to my game too (playing as Bengal at the time).

It's a game engine bug, you have to edit the savefile and delete the previous research progress. Add them to the researched category if you want.
