'Saigon. Shit, I am still in Saigon. I wanted a mission and for my sins, they gave me one. I never want another one again'.

Talking of which, will there be a 'Nationalist' movement to clear Indo-China of the evil German colonialists by a certain Ho Chi Minh? Hidden away in an unseen province called 'The Trail' :D and pumping VC out into the Central Highlands.

:D Yes, we could have a whole range of terrible events regarding Sonderbrigade Kommando Otto Skorzeny's mission to remove Goering of his command...

Anyway, was definitely planning on having a Socialist Indo-China under Ho Chi Minh (T-Hiddemen's skin is too good to not use!), possibly as an off-map country at the game start to simulate the guerilla war better.

And if anyone wants to try Photoshopping the Staatshalter's Coronation, Jean-Bédel Bokassa's should be a reasonably good template.... -> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v380/tiff_tiff_tiff2000/coronation5.jpg

dictatorofthemonth.com is funny as hell!! :D

you even have a ranking of how good/bad one was! Awesome! :D :D
Sarmatia, i will probably scan you a nice picture of the "german way of colonizing", which you can include where ever needed. It is a sarcastic drawing, where german colonists try to let giraffes walk in rows and march like soldiers, very funny :)

... or 'Heart of Darkness' - the original version was a novel by Joseph Conrad set in the Congo.

Which iirc I believe is based on an ancient legend of somewhere or other...? About a journey into hell I think. I may be totally wrong

It's been a very very long time since I've had anything to do with it, but I believe it's more an exploration of the nature of civilization/uncivilization.

It's a bit low on the farting demons to be based on Dante's Inferno though!

:D Ah, he is alive!

Actually, if there is available time to make things, could you try and construct a Russia skin for 'All the Russias'?

So, after searching about two months for my HOI2 cd (it's kinda hart to install a fresh version without ;) ) i installed this nice mod. I've to say i like it so far, but i absolutely miss Divisions from Baden. There are some Würtemberger, but no Badner. There are Rheinische Division1 +2 in Freiburg, but this is a bit strange.

This is an affront against all Badner ;) (well, you have to be Baden-Würtemberger to understand this*g*)

Now seriously, there should be some Troops from Baden, because they formed a large part of the southwestern Prussian Army (the troops from Baden where reformed nearly from scratch after the failed Revolution 1848/49 and where part of the Prussian army thereafter). 1914 they formed the XIV. Armeekorps, with 9 Inf-Regiments, 3 Cav Regiments, 5 Art. Regiments and 2 Pio Batts. If the Monarchy outlants the WWI, then the Großherzog von Baden would surly not dissmiss his Leib-Grenadiere...

Also, from further playing with the Union of Britain, I think we need to change the canadian ai from liking Britain to hating her. I keep getting influenced by the canadians, who want me to sign trade deals with them...

:D - I knew that the three non-Prussian Kingdoms were allowed to keep their own armies after unification, but wasn't sure about Baden...

I suppose that as Germany does actually need some more units, there could be a couple from Baden. Or failing that, I'll just rename some of the existing ones in the South-West. Any specific suggestions on what they should be?

Haven't I done that yet? Ah well, it's easily changed!

I marked the Füssilier Regiment Karl Anton because it's not from Baden.
The first Regiment Number ist the Number from Baden, the second the Number from the Prussian Army.

The atm in Freiburg stationed Rheinische... were orig. garrisoned in Trier/Coblenz/Saarbrücken.
