Been playing for a few hours. Some notes
- Communal France has no surrender events. I conquered the whole country as an United Italy Federation and annexed -- nothing happens.
- Turmunsk (Primorsk?) never got any territories in the annex of Siberia. It was basically 50% Japanese and 50% Murmunsk controlled Siberia... odd seeing that Murmunsk's cores should have resulted in them getting it all
- American Sydicates of America Civil War... Californa verus the Syindicates.... nothing happens
- Italian Unification event fails to launch. Had to save and reload to get it to work
- I noticed that Italy, at least my Italy, never got any Cores on Austrian held Italian lands. An United Italian Federation should be given events regarding what to do with Commune France, Austria, etc etc. Cores should be added to areas like Avalon and so forth. Perhaps a puppet could be created? I noticed that (when I released Communal France) that a Bourbon king got into power, not bad, as the Catalans in Spain were also Bourbon as well.
- Ukraine, if it chooses to arrest Kruschev, Ukraine is devoided of any events and given way too much dissent. In an earlier game, I found myself clearing dissent and upgrading units right till 1940. This is really no excuse, as Ukraine is basically the front line against Russia and it shouldn't be as weak as it is. (Well I am not suggesting it should be strong either, but Ukraine shouldn't be clearing dissent and giving energy to Central America for the whole game). Population of Ukraine should be increased. Right now in the game it starts off as .28 or .30 or sometihng along those lines. Ukraine, as it didn't suffer from the holodomar in this alternate history, should have a higher population base (ranging from .35-.45). Don-Cossack Union as well needs a population increase
- Soviet Ukrainian Generals, such as Eremenko, should be added to the Ukraine. The trouble being... its hard to know who is Ukrainian and who is Russian (when looking at the military pool for the USSR)... But I am going to help you on this one. Give or take, everyone with an "enko" on their surname is of Ukrainian background or has Ukrainian lineage. Much like everyone with a Sky or Ski is Polish. Then you have individuals like Andrei Grechko, who is actually Ukrainian himself.
- Ukraine needs more leaders? Grab all the "Enko", "Ko", and so forth. At least 90% of them are Ukrainian and in the process, this would probably give Ukraine a good handful of new leaders. Vlasov should also be removed from the Ukraine.
- Rokossovsky, I would hardly call him a Communist (as he was just an opportunist who fought for the Soviets to move up in the military hierachy), should be added into the Polish army.
- Kruschev? Ukraine?
The man was partly responsible for the Holodomar (How do you think he got the name butcher of the Ukraine?) and making a whole conflict revolving around him is laughable at best. Of course... If you want a more historically correct person for a Communist Ukraine --> here you go
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mykhailo_Hrushevsky
Then you also have [radical] Jerks like
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volodymyr_Vynnychenko (Socialist?)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symon_Petlura (Anti-Bolshevik, Anti-Russian, Anti-German... Form your own conclusion I guess. )
- Galicia... Yevhen Petrushevych should be made head of Government. Korfanty was largely a German-Pole and that doesn't make much sense in an Austrian puppeted Galicia.
- There is a lack of events regarding Poland, Galicia, and Ukraine. The creation of Galicia was probably a good move on behalf of the Austrians to prevent anything like civil unrest throughout Eastern Europe... but in a lot of the games I played, Galicia ends up being absorbed completely by the Polish and that is a "no no".
Puppet or not, angry Germany or not, cowardly Ukraine or not... Poland and Ukraine would simply club each other over the head if either one got or annexed Galicia. If it didn't reach war, it would probably be something as ridicilous as 50+ dissent, as history demonstrated, Ukrainians and Poles would simply run around and murder their respective counterparts in either country. The Polish Resistance did it to Ukrainians in Poland and the OUN did it to Poles during the Second World War. How would this be handled? Both Poland and Ukraine leave their alliances, declare war on each other, and fight each other till an event fires off regarding posession of Galicia. Of course, I suppose, Germany or Austria could choose to intervene through supplying arms or even assisting militarily.
- Mexico? Doesn't gain any cores when it chooses expanding northwards (uncertain about southwards)
- Sweden/Norway... Has already been covered... non-agression pacts need to be removed in 1936 or the event should remove them
- Egypt has no resources whatsoever... Although this might be intentional? Egypt was basically cotton, sand, and dirt back then...
- Would the Ottoman Empire have declined or even fragmented anyway? Turkish nationalism would not have "dissappeared" had the Ottomans won the war
- Mongolia is quite the powerhouse isn't it?
- Deathdates are apparently missing? George VI never dies... Then again, maybe its that wonderful Canadian Maple Syrup?
- As others have mentioned... Germany has trouble defending itself and even attacking France. France always win, unless I intervene of course. The problem is that someone got a little too excited while writing Germany's AI... Why do I say this? "nofog" and I discovered that Germany had well over 15 Battleships... Maybe it was 30? It was quite a bit and would explain why Germany never built an army
- Kerensky... eh well I can't argue against this one. I never liked the man
- Some events keep on looping... Particular the Bengel Social Unrest and Australian Demonstrations
