JSGME was accidential missing in the last version. Sorry about that.
The lack of Russian leaders must be a bug in your version, in my game there are plenty of military leaders. Maybe try to reinstall the game with JSGME.

However, when I started a game as Russia, both the starting land doctrine paths were red and could not be researched. Is this changed by an event later on? I can't imagine going through the game with no land doctrines.
This is changed later by an event, after which you will receive blueprints and a new techteam.
Edit: Maybe it's time to write an FAQ...

can someone help, when i downloaded the mod from megaload it only gave me the RAR file?? no zip at all?!?!?
Its only in RAR version! You just have to download Winrar!

Well, i'm not using JSGME i using fresh copy of ARMA 1.1 folder, preserved for Kaissereich.
Playing USA. Went to war as part of Allies against Socialists. Conquered Sicily and annexed it. Now I want to give it to Italian Federation, and I can't. Needs to be an event for that.

I installed the mod today and tried a game with Sweden but i cant get the events to run, any idea why?
There is, but I think it only fires for Germany.
Conquered Britain. I gave it all to Canada. So far no events firing, which has me puzzled. Solved the conumdrum with italy by leaving the Allies, making an alliance with the Italian Federation, and then giving them the rest of Italy.

I think the British Empire events launch onöy when Canada itself conquers Britain, but I'm not sure.

I started playing as Canada but noticed a few problems. One of the policy events in 1936 fired three times (I think it was internal policy but I can't remember), each one with slightly different choices. Also I noticed some events seemed to indicate a war would happen, in this case Hungary vs Croatia and Britain vs Norway, but the wars associated with the events never started. Earlier the events starting Abyssina vs Ethiopia and Mongolia vs Ma worked fine.

I dunno, i conquered Britain with Canada and nothing fired, so i just liberated all the countries manually
They do launch when Germany has conquered Britain.
There need to be events for when the Allies conquer Britain...
