Sorry for all the posting, but looking over the german OOB again and I noticed that half its battlecruisers were gone and blasted! they've been warped into battleships, this being unacceptable has been rectified, so you know have your battlecruiser-heavy german fleet.

Yes, another victim of the 'replace all' key - I put in replace 'BC' to 'Battleship' at one point!

I thought I tracked down all the misclassifications, but obviously not!

Yes, all good - new chances to start major wars are always great! Plus, I definitely like Väino I being steered into being the King of All the North by Chancellor (Finnish equivalent?) Kosola.

And of course, if Norway refuses an aggressive Britain's demands to begin with, then there's an additional chance of an earlier (possibly only regional) conflict right at the beginning....

Prime minister just isn't suitable for any proper national populist leader... Finland never had any chancelors in real life but I'd imagine that there could as well be one in a more german system. "Kansleri" is a pretty direct translation of "chancelor". Other option could be "Valtionhoitaja" which could be translated into "state caretaker"...

I was actually thinking of making the Britian a bit sneaky, mostly offering Trade, Friendship and Co-operation (plus smugling hefty amounts of syndicalist literature....) but I'd imagine that more agressive demands could also be an option...

"Johtaja" would be the closest thing to "The Leader"...there is no "the" in finnish language and "johtaja" is going to make 10 out of 10 finns think about a corporate boss...

A few things (though I am sure you are aware of most of them).

There is a japanese army in one of the German Chinese coastal cities; dont think its meant to be there.

The German tech team 'Herman Goering' should be in Mittelafrika methinks (as should the german leader goering - though I reckon you havent looked at the german leader file yet).

I dont know if you have done it already in one of your posts but can you give a rundown on 'descriptions' of all the new ideologies and what each mean (I am trying to get a feel of the relationship between them)

Berlichingen, I havent downloaded the alpha from the new site (so if the german. inc file you give here is different from that my apologies)

But I see from the german.inc you have in this link has you already building some vessels (including the Bismark) but they are all level five ships (not level four)

this is just because of the sheer l337ness of german naval yards
but i too think they should be level 4 battle ships.

Oh, and plz, correct the german Names for some nations. You got the most of them right, but others are english or not fitting at all (i.e. the countries in the urals, which still are english, need translation help? Then you've got the third indian country, which for me shows up as North Korea ) Other than that, it sure looks cool and promising.

Remember to make germany's belongings cores, like torun and so on! Me likes the Münster picture, very nice

PLease go on and upload new stuff as soon as possible, a weekly update at this rate of work would be appropiate in my eyes!

Oh, and what am i going to do with those countless level 1 battleships?? they will get sunk by level 4 destroyers i hate building fleets, they take so loooooooooooooong.

Oh, and before i forget, what's up with the SPD partition event? is this really going to happen? germany get's devided into small pieces? please tell what you intend with that!

The lvl I BBs represents the international decline of naval production, with the other three major powers in the world fragmentings, only Germany was able to keep up a steady naval production, other nations are mostly lagging behind.

The lvl I BBs are very useful is used correctly, try playing Italy in a vanilla game, those old ships are great as scouts and bait.

As a player you have the option to slim down your fleet, but I am trying to make the world seem in decay and in rapid transition to something else. A time of upheaval during the 20s and 30s for Britian and France has retarded their naval expansions, Italy's navy is quite powerful but divided and most of Germany's estwhile puppets have a motely collection of old allied ships or ships they've managed to get Germany to build for them.

Its apart of my grander philosphy of the naval warfare in the game, I'm counting on most all the nations having ageing fleets, this will provide dilemmas for players and ensure that Germany will have, at the beginning, naval dominance over, in essence, the entire world.

Germany as I see it is has hedgemony over most of the world directly or indirectly but in their seat of unchallenged power they've grown lazy, divided and corrupt and their empire is crumbling, wearing and chipping away intill it comes crashing down.

Thats my take on it at least.

Also, ayeshanti, another things I've missed, since the mod is unplayable its not essential, but I'll add it to my list of things to do.

Also, if you want Sarmatian I can begin composing list of names of ships that can be assigned to ships the player builds. At the current setting we're going to get alot of repeats, especially for Germany, or stuff that makes no sense, like union of britian getting King George V, doubt they'd take a liking to that.

That'll be on the back burner till everybody gets new OOBs for naval stuff, but just a thought.

- Clean up Royalist and Socialist British Fleets
- Clean up Ottoman, Bulgarian and Egyptian Fleets
- Start Work on Mittelafrika, Siam, and other German puppet fleets.
- Start work on USA, Japan, Russian fleets
- Double-check OOBs for balance and bugs
- Start work on all the minor fleets everywhere from Sweden to Netherlands to Romania, etc, etc, etc

I find it quite peculiar that Germany, even though it has unrivaled dominace of the sea and many armies and naval squadrons stationed overseas, has neither one transport or escort squadron.
