I recently played a ganme as the commune of France. MacArthur schooled everyon, and the CNT-FAI didn't lose their war because I allied with them and joined in. Maenwhie, Russia got their ass kicked by Germany because they went to war with the D-K Union, who were garunteed by Germany. Mitteleuropa has Austria-Hungary, Ottomans, MittelAfrika, and Bulgaia in it, etc. Russians also decided to pick a fight wit Mongolia while fighting Germans. Needless to say, thy were forced to Bitter Peace. Which is fine, except that I now have a large amount of russian land to fight through if I want to fnish off Germany. Maybe there should be an event where the Russians can demand the return of that land if the Germans are getting schools, which could result in german giving it back, oru them going to war.

Also, I helped annex the Italian Federation, South Africa had a Socialist revolution, and I had the event where I coup the Netherlands. Any advice on how to win the upcoming war?

Why would the Germans return a large swath of land to a potentially hostile nation? That being said, the Russian bitter peace needs some work.

Here's some strategic advise: try to ally the Dutch, hold the line in the Italian Alps (draws German troops) and the reverse Blitz the Germans through the low countries. Ghent is usually the weakest link in the German defense and the Belgians are weaker than the Germans themselves. If pulled of properly you can own the vital Ruhr area within a month.

The fact is that if you leave RoS (o SRI, as you want to call it) alone, they are doomed to a crushing defeat against Italian Federation. An human player with IF could be able to hold the line on the french border untill RoS is annexed, but an human played RoS still needs the help of CoF to stand a chance against IF...

Ah but doesnt the human also choose when to assault the north Italians due to the fact that the ITA federation almost never attacks the sicilians means that the human has the luxury of when to attack. And that is an immense advantage build your army up,get blueprints from france,build ic by attacking greece, or albania etc...

Anyway, an AI RoS is doomed, with zero possibilities to survive. And you can attack Grece or Albania etc also as IF, so this is not sufficient.

Sometimes Austria joins the war against CoF together with Italian Federation - the result is commie Austria right at the german border (with no german reaction for being encircled...). And after CoF DOWs Germany, the AI leaves it's southern border totally unprotected! single french division can roam over Germany and even reach Berlin!

Another thing - if Germany allies with Bourbon-throne-claiming Spain, spain gets whole France. As a core territory. And gets about 180 total IC. More than Germany. That event about claiming french throne needs to be changed, badly.

I am playing as Wrangel's Russia, it's July 1940. I have already won "historical" wars with turkmenistan, Cuban Cossacks and Geogia (event Faith and Nation), Mongolia and Japan (with its puppets). At the same time Commune France defeated Germany in Europe and annex White ruthenia, and baltic states. So now I have border with France. So my question is: is there an event where France declare war on Russia?

John did you read my feedback on the 1.2 beta thread? I played a Qing China game into summer 1940 and wrote feedback about all of the wars in the world and the issues that you asked about like S. America. I only ask here because I have not seen you post there since I put the feedback there.
