Wow, it has been forever since I looked at this mod! Glad to know things have gone so well with it, I'll dl as soon as the new release comes out. One question though: So far as religion/culture is concerned, you're making it so if Rome conquers a Greek area, Roman institutions are already set up for them? That doesn't make too much sense to me. Although their religions and philosophies were more similar than, say, Rome and the Gauls, Roman institutions of governance were quite different and it would take a little time at least to get Roman methods of taxation put in place. Is this supposed to be represented by bailiffs?

What do you mean, EU2 doesn't have the resources? Greek and Roman religious practices were different enough for them to be separate IMO. Maybe you could make Rome CRC or something. Is that slot already taken?

------------

Empire of Alexander the Great is divided and a new power is emerging to rule the Ancient World. The time of the greatest empire in Europe is beginning and the independence of the Gallic tribes is coming to an end.

It's a time of great structures (?).
It's a time of mighty armies.
It's the time of Rome.

-------------

Hope that helps ... :)

Damn. Who is pagan, if nordic and druidic are already their own religions?

Oh, okay. But is Nordic really all that different from the other non-druidic religions of the "barbarian" cultures? I know this seems like trading one preference in religious division for another, but it is much more likely that the Romans will conquer Greek territories than the Germans conquering Illyria or Numidia. The release is probably too soon at this point for things to be changed, but perhaps you could include it in the next release, whenever that might be?

Alright, I can accept that. Are the religions going to have the same in-game effects as they do in normal EU2, or can that be modded as well?

What are the bonuses gained from the modified relgions now? I don't mean to be bothersome, but I am just curious and excited to see this project coming together.
