Congrats Marco ! Reading your AAR definitely makes me want to play EUIII over and over again haha

Congratulations, Marco :)

Thanks AllMyJames and everyone for the good wishes! I'm totally honored and appreciative - especially because of the quality of the AARs that you have all written and I've enjoyed. Until this AAR was a big-time lurker! :D

I'm looking forward to finishing this one - there's some good game play (I think) in the last few decades of this game. Then I have a good idea for another challenging AAR in MMP. Of course, I might crash out of that game - it will be a challenge!) ;)

Now I'll be paying close attention to the great AARs I'm reading so I can pass the baton!

There are some really tasty AARs out there right now that I'm totally enjoying! So figuring out which AAR to pick was been totally difficult!

Hopefully mentioning a few Honorable Mentions doesn't break the spirit of the letter of the law (if it does, please let me know or just delete these!)

I'm totally enjoying Keeper of the Keys: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=483243

I'm totally enjoying (and completely jealous of this mod) The Sevillian Chronicles:

But I have to say that the AAR that's been totally knocking my socks off is by axzhang called Repubblica di Genova/Republic of Genoa - a MMU Story:

The story-telling is fantastic, the use of a MMU mod with HttT is totally fascinating....so many things I love about MMP but in the new cool Heir to the Throne world! The maps are fantastic - a great mix of EUIII and hand-amde maps. The additional pictures are very cool - they give a really interesting perspective to the overall story.

And the story (to repeat myself!) is really worth reading - it's got internal and external perspectives, quotes from leaders and observers of the period, a fascinating twist of history that makes complete sense in the world that's being created.

I'm loving it. I appreciate axzhang's gameplay and AAR and I hope everyone does, too!

CONGRATS AXZHANG!

Many congratulations :D

Congratulations!

This is a really great start, and the amount of effort that goes into both writing and graphics is clearly visible. Great job and very well deserved!

Congratulations Axzhang :)

Thank you Marco, for the kind words and continued support! As a long-time reader in AARland, I am pleased to have made my own small contribution. I will try my best to pass the laurels to a most worthy successor next week.
