Thanks AllMyJames and everyone for the good wishes! I'm totally honored and appreciative - especially because of the quality of the AARs that you have all written and I've enjoyed. Until this AAR was a big-time lurker!
I'm looking forward to finishing this one - there's some good game play (I think) in the last few decades of this game. Then I have a good idea for another challenging AAR in MMP. Of course, I might crash out of that game - it will be a challenge!)
Now I'll be paying close attention to the great AARs I'm reading so I can pass the baton!
The story-telling is fantastic, the use of a MMU mod with HttT is totally fascinating....so many things I love about MMP but in the new cool Heir to the Throne world! The maps are fantastic - a great mix of EUIII and hand-amde maps. The additional pictures are very cool - they give a really interesting perspective to the overall story.
And the story (to repeat myself!) is really worth reading - it's got internal and external perspectives, quotes from leaders and observers of the period, a fascinating twist of history that makes complete sense in the world that's being created.
I'm loving it. I appreciate axzhang's gameplay and AAR and I hope everyone does, too!
Thank you Marco, for the kind words and continued support! As a long-time reader in AARland, I am pleased to have made my own small contribution. I will try my best to pass the laurels to a most worthy successor next week.
