Wow, thank you all for the award and congratulations. I must admit, I only just now realized that I'd gotten this award, thanks to how busy uni's been keeping me.

But, now, a week after having received this great honor, I must pass it to another. And I must say, I can think of no better person for this week than the man who will receive this award. The writer I'm going to nominate has turned what was once an AAR very much tinted towards the 'humor' side of the scale of AARs into a very focused example of writing, showing a great deal of skill and commitment to this field.

So I hope that mayorqw, for his project Baghdad in the Sky with Diamonds, will enjoy this award. He deserves it!

Thank you very much NACBEAST. I am very much flattered for having recieved this distinction, and hope I deserve it :D

I, and this goes without saying, want to thank all of my readers for their continued support of my AAR: Loki, Calipah, morningsider, Aliasing and everyone else[1].

I would also like to thank Mr. Capiatlist. His series of AARs, Baltijka, were what gave me the impetus to actually start my AAR, despite the initial colossal divergences in tone.

I hope this award helps me to keep going forward, and will soon announce my decision as to my successor. I've got to say its gonna be tough to choose someone from the vast excellence there is in these forums.

Off to put this on my sig :p

[1] You might've noticed I only picked the ones on the last page :D [2]

[2]Damnit, annotations are a bit of a vice of mine :D

Congratulations. Well deserved.

Congrats mayorqw, well done! And NACBEAST too, since I was away during his week with the "title".

A slightly belated congratulations on this greatly deserved award! I loved this AAR when it was a comedy, filled with brilliant dry wit, I love it now that it is a magisterial and gripping history-book style.

The banner he has created for this AAR is simply fantastic.

Thank you all yet again.

Now that my term has ended, I chose to pass it to an excelent WritAAR. His A Collective Regime of Peace and Love - A KR Soviet Russia AAR is one that has thrilled from the start! The tale of the reinvogorated Soviets battling against the bourgeois is only just beginning... they have taken Berlin - and cut off the head of the snake - but, however, far more lies ahead... The Chinese and Japanese Empires have joined in with the reactionaries, as have the Americans under the rule of General MacArthur, Defender of the Nation...

Yet still, the Germans and Austro-Hungarians will fight to the man to prevent their nations from succombing to the 'Red Scourge'! And to the West, the Soviet's erstwhile allies, the French and British, follow a misguided brand of socialism, and surely, after the war is won, Comrade Bukharin will have to show them how to create a true Worker's Paradise, for Bolshevism is the only way!

Not many AARs can bring a readAAR into such involvement, from the the fall of Tsar Pyotr to the siege of Berlin. United Socialist Arabia? Check! A true World War, from Siberia (and soon) to America? Check! Powerful Soviet tanks? Check!

Congratulations Zzzzz... You are the WritAAR of the Week!

Thank you very much, mayorqw! Thanks for all the congrats and stuff. That is very nice. This is my 1st AAR so I didn't expect it to be outstanding but I am honoured by this award. A lot of AARs have convinced me to start my own like Rome AARisen, Children of the Sun, and many more. The whole ride was tough but it was fun and I am determined to finish this journey.

Last and most importantly. Thanks to the readers. The patience and their feedbacks are invaluable considering how they shaped the AAR's future to make it more enjoyable. Thanks, guys!

Congrats Zzzzz...! I don't pay too much attention to the HOI forums, but I've read a bit of your AAR and the writing and style are commendable.

Also, thanks for the mention, I'm happy to have played a part in inspiring you to start writing. :)

Congrats Zzzzzz! I've discovered your wonderful Soviet KR AAR because of this thread, wonderful read so far.:)

Well done Zzzzzz! Congratulations!
