Read about the High Council, the group leading this mod, in our website. This post is used for the rare occasions when a submission leads to a vote, or a new member is suggested by someone in the HC.
Issues decided by vote (result of the vote)
Number of votes cast can be less than the total number of HC votes due to absentism or neutral vote. A majority is needed to get something implemented. Votes are presented as (in favor/against) or (yes/no).

1. Permanent name of the mod: Should it be AGCEEP or should we set up another poll (single vote) to decide on the name?

2. Standard for state names: Should countries have the English present-day name of the historic state or should we have a more free way of naming states?

3. Mongolia vs Russia. Adopting the changes proposed by doktarr in post #131 here: Mongolia vs Russia, addressing potential
difficulties with Russia encountering Mongolia.

4. Arguin. Should the trading fort Arguin (province Nouakchott) be made a colony by the event in submission #43? Read here.

5. São Tomé. Should São Tomé (province Fernando Po) get a special colonisation bonus for Portugal by the event in submission #43? Read here.

I would ask that any member of the "High Council" that wish to comment on the matter from the Iberian thread, or suggest how this forum can be improved to reduce arguments and replace them with constructive debate.

Do we need a change in posting rules here?
Do some members need posting priveldges removed for this subforum?
Any other suggestions or solutions?

I would like to nip this in the bud as I have had a few complaints.

This is open to all not just the HC but I would particularily like to hear from them.

After several complaints I have decided to make the following new rules for this forum.

New rules for this sub forum:

1) Realize that there is a difference between distruptive arguing and constructive debating.
2) Allow that others will not always agree and that it is just not possible to convince some people no matter how clear the matter is to you.
3) Never resort to personal attacks out of frustration! (or for any other reason)
4) Say the mantra: God grant me the ability to change what can be changed and the ability to accept what cannot. But most importantly the ability to tell the difference.
(for God, feel free to substitute your choice of supreme being, deity, whatever.)
5) Notify a Moderator of any breach of these new rules or the general board rules which can be found here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/...q_new_faq_item
6) Do not take action or respond to trolls, leave it for the Moderator you notified under rule 5.
7) Have fun modding, that is why you are doing it after all.
