Hearth of Iron

Sinon, ces quelques remarques, d'ici à ce que je puisse un jour donner une meilleure information (c'est à dire que j'aie acheter le jeu):
The trouble is that C.O.R.E requires you to have the Paradox Poster and Propaganda pack install which also adds leaders and ministers.
Here are two links to the packs that you need. I don't know what you need to do to use them with Macs as I don't have one but on a PC you just have to unzip them to the HOI directory and have the check mark selected to preserve the directory structure.

Here is the first rough cut of my Mod Installer for OS X.
You can download it at http://www.ahart.demon.co.uk/files/Mod_Installer.app.zip. It's only about 700 KBytes, and unzips to an application you can put wherever you wish.
I suggest you proceeed as follows to try this out:
1. Create a new copy of HoI and call it HoI CORE.
2. Launch the Mod Installer application.
3. Select Hearts of Iron in the top popup menu - it can also install mods for EU II and Civ III. I haven't even tried it with EU II mods yet.
4. The Mod Installer window should display your HoI installations, but probably not the new one you just created at step 1. This is because the list is compiled using a disk index that is only updated weekly.
5. Assuming the copy you want to modify is not listed, drag its folder onto the Mod Installer window to add it to the list. It will then remain in the list if you run the installer again unless you click the "Rescan" button to get back to the original list.
6. Drag the C.O.R.E zip file, or the unzipped folder, into the Mod Installer window and onto the copy of HoI you want to update.
7. Click OK in the confirmation alert to start the installation.
8. Repeat with any other mod file sets you want to add.
9. Launch the modded copy of HoI and play the mod.
I have tested it with the C.O.R.E zip files, including the extra ones mentioned in Baenwort's post. I have also tested it successfully with the Stony Road v3.0 file set that I have. I think Dojoboy supplied that, so you need to twist his arm to give you a link.
My "successful tests" consisted of running the installer in 10.2.8, launching the game, and checking that I can reach start of game with no CTDs or other obvious problems. I have *NOT* tried playing the game, modded or not, yet, so I have no feel for whether the mods are working to specification. However, I suspect that once they are loading and running, we are most of the way there.
