medici flag, .........as far as i know the medici only had white on the flag from 1574 to 1586 . So I suggest we use a yellow based one with the red and blue spots. This would be easier to view and keep separate from the white POR flag.

I'm not sure. Is it for TOS default set?

NOTE: there is one with the "count" title.......I will explain....early in the 19th century the HRE offered all the 2500 Noble Venetian families the title of Count on condition that they do not organise a rebellion in the Veneto.
All refused the title except 19 families. Stating....... A free Venice Republic or nothing.

There is no Medici set, only Rebublic, default and Habsburg. This is why I ask. I understand default set but not sure.

we must have a hole in the TOS events then, because for the past 3 versions, in every game, i get

republic flag.........florentine lily
toshabsurg flag

and militia flag.........i presume this is the white flag with medici COA in the middle, if not , then we definetly have a hole in the events.
this flag is in the vanilla set

default has medici coa right?

EDIT..........after further review, I think we need to leave flags as they are and introduce a "medici" flag to represent this family who was guiding Tuscany into a duchy.
So, for every time a medici is in power this "new" flag will be used, once Tuscany do not have a medici, it will revert to the republican flag.

since this event below was recently amended, it has hardly fired and it makes no sense

#-#The Pope had sought Venice's help against the King of Naples, leaving her a free hand against Ferrara. He subsequently became alarmed by Venice's success, however, and while Florence and Milan intervened in Ferrara's favour, Sixtus IV had recourse to an interdict in order to stop Venice. At the peace of 1484 Venice was allowed to retain 'the Polesine', which she had conquered.

The war was between PAP against ferrara (modena) , PAP asked VEN to help while ferrara (modena) asked TOS, NAP and MLO.
The aim of PAP and VEN was, PAP to take romagna and VEN to take mantua (representing , rovigo and the polesine)

Using the current map, the trigger should be If PAP does not own romagna then event should fire representing VEN involvement,
The event options A indicate that , historically VEN military beat up on ferrara, and send an army down south aiding PAP to destroy the naples army, the PAP fearing VEN might changed sides........so venice's aims changed and so went to take the romagna for themselves, hence the core

For dates that are not 1820, I always try to give day and month. Shouldn't it be "day = 11 month = may year = 1797" instead, according to monarchs.ven and Ludovico Manin (0163055)?

It means Count Albrizzi will last until 1820 if Venice survives. Better add this information as remark for this monarch.

Why can't Venice revolt/be released as a vassal after 1797?

because they revolted only in 1848 and 1866, which is after our game time

YodaMaster said:
I understand Garbon's objection. My own proposal was just in order to avoid a revolter with a * monarch.
Yeah, this is also my way of thinking. IMO, we should avoid the springing up of ahistorical states. This is not EU3.
