Sorry to digress from this last topic, but I would have some comments about the involvement of provinces potentially owned by Indian tribe countries in the American Revolution which means the reworking of my suggestions of event changes and e revision of extra provinces to be included in USA tag from revolt.txt. There is much to change in the trigger of the event about the Olive Branch Petition...where I am going to merge group #5 and #6.

Post reference:
#1067, 1068 and 1068 for the last suggestions in events;
#1074 for the change in the grouping of provinces affected by revolts including the ones where the Indian tribes should be staying.
#1090 and 1091 for my last *troubles*... ;)

I aggree for Oswego, Mohawk and Onondaga.
Ticonderoga and Adirondak are behind the line but there were french forts or trading post in the area, moreover it's in the heart of the colonised land (between Montreal and Albany) so i would prefer that England keep the cores.

And should they be ignored in the revolts for the birth of America too?

As I have posted in compiling 155 I am still unsure about which provinces should be included in the four events about the provRR increase and in the trigger of the Olive Branch Petition. They are more or less are the same choices of provinces.

As for the remaining event (little-big peace, we win, we lost... events) they will be changed accordingly, of course.

As for now I am considering to ignore Iroqoui lands as Irondekoit, Oswego, Onondaga and Mohawk in my last suggestions. That is they are only ceded when USA forms.

But Cherokee lands Catawba (65) and Appalache (66) are currently included in these revolts, so is this maybe inconsistent with the Iroqouis?

That is, should they be all of them or none of them included in these revolts? Should the Cherokee lands only be secede if USA forms? :confused: :wacko:

In the end following are the suggested further colonial provinces which are to be included in the four events leading to the American Revolution (provRR increase as per my previous posts starting from 1067) and will also be included in the trigger about the "revolt areas" of the Olive Branch Petition from South to North:

I don't know about provs #65 and 66 wheter they could be included or not as they are still in the Appalachians, which were the Eastern boundaries of the colonies by the way;
prov #99 seems to have been stage of a battle during the American Revolution and it should be in;
prov #112 should be the coastal continuation of the Massachusetts (today's Maine together with Penobscot, iirc)

Following provinces
Irondekoit (83), Oswego (89), Onondaga (90) and Mohawk (91)
will only be seceded in the events closing the birth of America sequence.

In any case, should they be also seceded to USA "if the congress succeeds" with ENG_4982 together with provinces above in this post if not yet included?

About Kentucky and Eire or Tennesse, I prefer to have them off the sequence, even if they sometimes are colonized by England. But the question is, should they be also seceded to USA in ENG_4982 together with all NA provinces including the Indian Reserve as per post #1080?

Why shouldn't they revolt when revolts begin in other provinces?

If we apply this rule then England should secede the provinces. Colonization went too far but situation shouldn't become weird after Independence of USA at least until natural borders.

You mean, we should let posts 1067-9 as they are and just work on the changes to the trigger of Olive Branch Petition with these provinces? And ENG_4982?
Which other provinces should it include, only the minimal and extra ones currently in revolt.txt for USA tag or all the revolting ones?
The USA entry in revolt.txt doesn't include The Indian Reserve (83-89-90-91) while 48 (Talahassee) and 56 (Tennessee) are out of historical range imo.
 
I agree for Talahassee and Tennessee being out of historical range, and revolting provinces shouldn't defect to any country if not USA. Only provinces in USA cores should have raised RR but this doesn't mean England shouldn't lose others in the neighborhood. We have to make a difference between "we lost" and "we lost big" for England.

Is that meaning that no more provinces than the ones we currently have shoud receive the localized RR or are you saying that we have to include more USA cores in revolt.txt such as part of the listed provinces mentioned in my latest posts #1105 and #1108?

I wonder if we also have to make a difference between revolting provinces and seceded provinces after the release of USA and its enlargement with ENG_4982.

As for now I cannot see any single event but I seem to recall that the "we lost" event only removes cores while the "we lost big" event removes cores and also secedes provinces...

Natives population replacing NA tribes are too low and too easily killed. Hurons don't need a change but others should be a real annoyance for England and colonization, Only problem is avoiding them killing all English explorers...

Well, I went for 5 as I was told (I can't remeber who... :( an American for sure! ;) ) that an hypotetical Stuart king would have received more favour in the North American colonies, where the historical king failed to receive consensus with the Olive Branch Petition.

However we could go with a value between 7 and 9 as 10 should be for the Hanoverian king only. Or, if innovation is too high, we can add another DP test such as centralization or land, or aristocracy...
 
I have to check other DPs but 9 is the minimal for innovative in most cases if we want to see American revolution for ahistorical England (and ahistorical is always for monarchs when Catholic). Not much difference with George...

Maybe we could use religion then and have innovative = 5 only if still Protestant or Reformed or 9 if Catholic or CRC? Does it make sense?

So after having seen the U.S. waste money on colonies/tps/traders while trying to fight off the British, I'm going to suggest that we give the U.S. the Large.ai upon revolting and once it has cleared out of the initial war, let it have its colonizing/trading-focused AI.

I don't know if this is as much of a problem with the Netherlands. In all my tests lately, they for the most part can hold their own as we give them a lot of goodies at start/all of their provinces have fortresses. Here and there, I've seen the Netherlands get gutted in their initial wars, but it doesn't happen most of the time.

/I'd also rather not push Dutch colonization back as it is already precarious enough. :(
