Somehow, I feel the liberation of Viena isn't going to last.

Mathematical game

1946.04.13 2300
Presidential Palace, Gwong'zau

As the war between the Allies and Comintern was raging throughout Europe and Primosky, right above the Kingdom of China, many reports were sent from spies and agents in Soviet Union and USA. To ensure there were no hidden messages within their moves, Gaan Gwok-dung was checking every reports over the night. Suddenly, the door was knocked while Gaan Gwok-dung was reading a report about a skirmish in Primosky.

"Please come in." Gaan Gwok-dung drank some coffee and responsed. After that, the door was opened, and a man in Army uniform entered the office.

"Good evening, Mr. Gong Ji-sing." Gaan Gwok-dung looked at him and asked, "Any good news?"

"Of course, president." Gong Ji-sing answered, handing a report to him. This report was different from those on Gaan Gwok-dung's desk : his report was in black cover and had some golden Cyrillic alphabets on it. Also this report was much thinner.

"It looks thin." Gaan Gwok-dung took it and said, "Are there enough useful informations?"

"More than all those papers on your desk." Gong Ji-sing said.

"Well......" Gaan Gwok-dung, partly unconvinced, started reading it.

"Those numbers seem not so fit in those reports, do they?" Gaan Gwok-dung checked several other reports and asked.

"Soviets know how to make fake numbers, and they surely faked many people." Gong Ji-sing explained, "However, those people in Moscow were satisfied by their effort, and don't change their pattern of faking numbers."

Statistic.png

"So...... Comintern soldiers not only fewer than the Allied soldiers, their number was decreasing too?" Gaan Gwok-dung said his strange conclusion, as most people thought that Soviet Army outnumbered the Allied Army so many that the latter could not hold a sustainable bridgehead in Europe.

"Certainly, the Allied high command believed those fake statistics, and launched many useless offenses." Gong Ji-sing said, "However, as CEAN only had one front with the Soviets, and Soviets had sent most of her soldiers to Europe, we would not encounter many troubles in Siberia."

"So, you mean we should join the war?" Gaan Gwok-dung asked. He knew that the answer would change the history of the world forever.

"Yes, and the sooner the better." Gong Ji-sing answered, " As most Allied soldiers were still trapper in Europe and Primosky, we could control the whole Siberia and Ural."

"Right, we will see." Gaan Gwok-dung thought for seconds and said, "Please prepare reports about both sides of the front. We would need those in future."

"Certainly." Gong Ji-sing answered.

The communist governments in Austria and Hungary were overthrown by the Allies in May.

On May 21, US forces encircled tens of soviet divisions at Birobidzhan. They were destroyed later, and Gaan Gwok-dung read the report carefully.
"It's done." he said after hours of reading.

Yay my first (and maybe last) appearance! And as the starter of the Soviet-Cantonian war!

Good updates! Tug of war is ciritienlly a good way to explain it before CEAN joined it.

Crush3r : No, you probably wrong. :(
The tug is broken, and the one who spent most force to pull it will fall quicker.

Rodrico Stak : Yes, look at the statistic and you will see what "Mathematical game" truly means. :D

Sir Kenny : We will, but not before the time is come.

gis : Yes, as I mentioned before, the war didn't bring anything more than casualties. However, the tug is broken now. :)
Also, if you like your characteristic in my novel, you would appear in the future. :D
(if not, please tell me, I will try to fix that)

Snow Angel

1946.06.01 0000
Deserted Sino-Sovietic border in Siberia, Soviet Union

White snow fell from the black sky, landing on the deserted snowland in siberia. After the amphibious assault by US forces succeed to gain a bridgehead in Vladivostok, this once-deserted border base was in function again. However, the terrible road condition and the hostilie climate made this base only barely functional. Only 12 soldiers were in this base, and they merely felt the war. This night, after hours of heavy blizzards raging, the old generator stopped again.

"Ivan, the generator is not working again, go fill it." A soldiers said, after feeling the temperature in the room dropped.

"We have no oil in here now, Nikolay, go out and get some from the storage." Ivan looked into the room connected to the gatehouse and said.

"There are blizzards outside! How could I go out without being freezed?" Nikolay, another soldier complainted.

"Don't be so sissy, got some Vodka and grab the bucket!" Ivan said, handing a bottle of Vodka to Nikolay.

"Darn...... alright." Nikolay signed. He opened the bottle and drank some Vodka, then he opened the freezing iron gate towards outside. As soon as he was outside the room, the gate was closed firmly to prevent more cold air blew in.

"It's 5 minutes alright, Nikolay really got freezed?" After suffering minutes of cold, Ivan complainted and was shaking. Suddenly, knocking sounds were heard from the gate.

"Now he's back!" Ivan laughted, and opened the gate. However, as soon as the gate was opened, brute forces pushed the gate opened. With it several soldiers in soviet uniform and gas mask broke in.

"What the......" Before Ivan and other soldiers found out who the invaders were, leads were shot into their bodies, and made them became a cold meat due to the extremely low temperature.

"Team B check the base, team C go send message back to the commanders, team A follow me." one soldier kicked the body of Ivan and said. Dozens of soldiers rushed in and out the room.

After 15 minutes, several soviet artilleries were towed to the open ground of this base. Those soldiers were patrolling the base to prevent anyone coming in or out this base.

"Set up ready?" a soldier with high-ranking uniform asked another soldier, who was adjusting an artillery.

"Yes, sir." he responsed.

"Very well." officer answered, then he walked back to the base.

"Alright, countdown...... 5, 4, 3, 2......" he looked at his watch and counted.

As the same time he counted to 0, dozens of artilleries fire were heard from the base, and the whole base was shaking because of the heavy fire. At outside, the fires from the barrel of artilleries were glowing in darkness, look likes the wing of an angel. However, this would be the angel of death, as he delivers not the message of god, but death.

Vengeance

Liuchow_1945.jpg

Manzhouli, after being attacked by Soviet artilleries. Thousands of civilians were killed or injured by this attack, as this attack was launched at midnight, even more people were killed because of the dark and most people were sleeping when the shells arrived.

CEAN speaker said:
The surprise attack launched by Soviet Army against defenseless civilians in China is untolerantable. This act is considered as an aggression against the neutrality of CEAN and her member states. The president of Cantonia, the king of China, the president of Japan and the president of East Turkestan have agreed to sign the declaration of war against Soviet Union and her allies. There would be no peace between CEAN and Soviet Union unless the latter agreed to de-militarise the border with CEAN member states.

CEAN internal plan for post-war Soviet lands said:
‧Kingdom of China receive the outer Manchuria and part of Mongolia
‧Japan receive Karafuto Island
‧Turkestan form a federation with West Turkestan
‧Mongolia form, with most of her original land and some land from Soviet Union
‧Rest of the land will be under Cantonia control, and new nations might be formed later.

Its easier of what I tought, If the war goes well, we should be at Sverdovlosk at March of the next year, or even December of this year.

But its true what soldiers say,its like we're going into nowhere

Our government is a true socialist paradise (Leave sliders as they are)

Superb progress against the fascistic Soviet Union!

My vote is leave sliders where they are. (I've turned into a Soc Lib or Soc Dem - make sure the cabinet conforms in ideology.)

EDIT: And I was right, Viena was retaken by the Soviets (for now).
