still confused about gov types

I'm unclear from reading the Wiki: does adopting imperial administration hamper my ability to eventually become an absolute monarchy? I'd like to adopt it for the Holy War CB, but I'll want to be an absolute monarchy later on. I'm just not entirely sure if imperial admin is part of the "evolution" of monarchies. (I'm a feudal monarchy now.) I think I can adopt imp admin and still become an absolute mon when that becomes available for the minor, rather than major, stab hit. Is that right?

You will be able to switch directly from imperial govt to absolute govt. And it should be at a price of -1 stability (if im reading it right).
