By editing the savegame or somesuch.

I've inherited Lithuania which had a CoT slighty above 300 and I couldn't remove it. Since then it seems that half of my colonies are trading trough this "faraway" CoT. But I wish all my colonies to trade trough my main CoT, in my capital (Ile-de-france).

I've added "cot=no" to the end of the provinces history but it didn't work.:(

It's probably not so hard to edit it but I doubt that it's good for you even if you did. Those provinces of yours that trade through Lithuania would probably mostly trade through Mecklenburg or something instead..

the cot's are placed in the first part of the file. But you could embargo them, conquer them and then dissolve that cot

He already owns it and can't remove it because it is too large.

I did this:

embargo Provence
gifts to Provence (relation 200)
sell Budjak (CoT) to Provence
annex Provence
destroy Budjak CoT

:D thanks for the help! now I can just concentrate on my Ile-de-france CoT (4500 value now, year 1600, not bad I think)
