I guess that the IRA will retaliate at once...

PD: Glad to have the AAR back.

Thanks for comments. I will try to update as soon as possible, but most problematic thing in my game is fact, that MDS is still early Beta version. Because of unknown reason, AI doesen't anex nations and Germany is very pasive if WW3 starts. Maybe I'll just wait for new hotfix,

Oh bad news.
It's a shame, the setting was really intriguing. :(

Try to use the old AI files they have released with the beta, they should work...

Thanks, I used old files and AI seems to be more aggressive, but it still won't anex nations. Very odd.

Emperor's first minister Kazuo Shii bowed to most respected man in empire. He stood still and waited for emperor to adress him. It was first time for him to take orders from supreme leader of the empire. He thought he was ready for anything, but he was wrong. He didn't expect question like this from his emperor. ''Tell me, minister, is there a way to turn Japan into workers paradise while preserving our beloved empire?'' Prime minister was shocked. He tried to stay calm. ''I am sure that there is a way to achieve situation like this, but many things would have to be done. For example we should...'' Emperor stopped him. Minister, I am not asking you to change Japan from inside. I like my empire just as it is. All we need to do is to make a mask that would fool the world.'' Emperor took strange document from a drawer of his desk. ''Minister, this came from Paris. This is alliance proposal. Those Syndicalists are smarter than I thought. It is true that Japan must step out of isolation. And it is also true that no other alliance can offer us more than they. Look at this list of cities. We can liberate all those people and we can bring all those lands into our sphere of influence. Those are some greatest cities of Asia. And all of them are in hands of greedy Western powers. People of Asia deserve to live in prosperity. But our new friends are not fond of ''reactionary monarchies''. Minister, you are man of working class. This is why I have chosed you for such important position. We can't be part of Syndicalist alliance while wearing golden clothes. Japan is country ripe for socialism. Minister, do your duty.''

New head of imperial cabinet realy proved himself. Emperor received new title called ''Heavenly Sentinel of Socialism''. Japan was declared ''Workers Empire'' and new type of socialist society was born. Syndicalist nations greeted new member of Internationale. Altough minister's mission was only to change face of Japan, he used his position to improve living standard of Japanese people. Many social programs were launched and solidarity became highest ideal of Japanese society. Situation in world was not becoming any better with new changes in Asia. Clouds of war were still gathering.

''Heavenly Sentinel of Socialism''

Is it only me that feels some kind of contradiction in terms there? :p;)

Dear readers(if anyone is still reading this), as you can see, I still couldn't fix the problem with anexations. I tried with old AI files, but it didn't help. This is why this AAR is suspended until release of new hotfix/final version for MDS Mod 1.6. Since MDS Mod is still Beta version, I have encountered many problems that effect gameplay. I will wait for improvements and then I can continue my story. Thank you for your patience.

We'll wait.

Or just try the old version of the MDS...

Major Orlov left the train to meet Chinese officers on station. ''General Wang, new delivery has just arrived. You can now order your men to move the cargo on trucks. If you excuse me, I must return to the train and call the president to let him know that transport was successful.'' Russian major passed locomotive and entered first wagon that was remade into command post. He was responsible for security of cargo train that was loaded with long-range ballistic missiles. Major was glad that he will finally get rid of dangerous cargo. He was transporting all kinds of weapons to China in past years, but he never expected cargo like this. It seemed that Russians were making realy good business with China since formation of Shanghai alliance.

Major contacted Moscow via satphone. When connection was established, he started to report: ''President Putin, special shipment reached it's destination. Unless there aren't any new orders, we will return to Russia after Chinese reload the cargo on their trucks.'' Nobody replied. ''President, are you there?'' Then he heard a voice. ''Major Orlov, admiral Masorin speaking. You must leave China immediately. Cancel reloading of cargo and bring the train back to Russia. Major, this is order. Train must leave now! Do not let that Chinese take the cargo!'' Major was confused. How can admiral use secured line that is reserved for president only? What was happening in Moscow? He turned around and spotted general Wang. ''General, you are not supposed to be here!'' Three shots were fired. ''I know.'' General Wang put his service pistol back to holster. He stepped over dead body and took the phone. ''Pardon me for interrupting your conversation, mister admiral. Or should I say comrade president? It was nice doing business with you. We are grateful for everything that Russia did for us. Too bad you have chosen wrong path. You know, Russia and China could prosper together in this mad world. Do you realy think that syndicalism will bring better life to your people? Britain and France couldn't help you during Great War, can you realy trust them now? When time will come, you will remember my words.'' Chinese general put down the phone and left the train.
