Im not sure...low
I've had literacy at 100% only few sessions now as someone pointed that out to me.
But Im not even bothering to touch the naval techs, when I need a navy, I buy one from Italy:D:D

Literacy and Education slider are two different things. Literacy is the education level of all your pops, where as the slider dictates how much it goes up or down and the generation of RP.
High Literacy will effect your factory efficiency. Your tech rate is limited to how fast you generate RP, So long as your RP is rising faster than goes down, you are teching at your maximum speed.

Italy has advanced naval techs, but I believe its actual ships are ancient sail-driven, wooden hulks from the War of China's Population. You'd be better off buying from modern navies like Indonesia, except they have signed a treaty agreeing not to supply you with war materiel; or Norway, but we don't trust you to use the ships responsibly.

what you mean not responsible:confused: It's not like we convert them to huge floating hotel/casino/bordell and sail between baltic coest:wacko::wacko:

That would be a responsible use. But you wild Finns might get drunk and fire the guns in random directions. Someone might get hurt! And even if they didn't, think of the environmental effects of the loud noises! You might scare the reindeer! Will nobody think of the reindeer?

Will nobody think of the reindeer?

we do, and when the history will allow us, we can start serving our famous sautéd reindeer in Swedish and norwegian restaurants:D

Another aspect of industrial development: Numbers of craftsmen, clerks, and cappies.

Indonesia has more capitalists then me!?

The labeling says "Thousands" but the numbers are on the range of 10^4... so do I read from the graph that China has 25 MILLION capitalists???

KoM if the numbers are in the million range you ought to change the labeling to accurately say that. Your plots are confusing, a scientist like you ought to know better :p

Sounds about right. China still has a massive population advantage, which he seriously needs to take advantage of in the remaining ~50 years if he wants to win HoI2.

China is only marginally more populous than Georgia and Indonesia. They are roughly equal size juggernauts all three...

You're forgetting that over half of Georgia and Indonesia are wrong-culture, so comparing efficiencies, China has the equivalent of over 600 million Georgians or Indonesians.

Also, note how the Georgian capitalist numbers soar after 1880 - the increase mostly Chinese capitalists from Yunnan, which contained most of China's capitalists when Georgia took it in war.

So don't count the Chinese mega-power out just yet. Blayne is only one good war away from returning to his position of (material) supremacy.

You dont have hard numbers on what the actual efficiency differences are and my growth is only as fast as I can click the convert to craftsmen button.

And technically assuming your line of logic was correct your conclusion is wrong my 430 million is only as good as my 430 million, in comparison with say Georgia assuming only 50% is state culture then I have 430 million to his 215 million but even so he can still use wrong culture pops for industry and still provide something, so itld be more likely that he has the total effiency of 80% of mine.

This makes it so that while hes behind we are still comparable.

And besides he can still use wrong culture pops for soldiers and they are just as good.
