In my current Burgundy game, I've been emperor for a long time (it's around 1660 now). I have passed all but the last 2 reforms. I have gathered 100 IA.
There are 60 HRE members atm, of which I have vassalised 35 if I counted correctly, and 45 are allies. I assumed that would allow me to pass all reforms without trouble, but it seems it doesn't. I revoke the privilegia, but all that happens is I lose 50 of my 100 IA.

What kind of relations are recommended to have with the vassalised/allied members? just positive doesn't cut it I think, should I bribe everything to 100? 200?

Hello,

I've been searching around for info on whether my Intel Graphics chip will be able to play EU3 but there is very little info on the topic. I know that only nVidia and ATI cards are officially supported, but the game does seem to work on some onboard Intel graphics chips so I want to use mine if possible. Here's Intel's and GPU-Z's information on my graphics hardware:
Image: http://www.game-point.net/misc/gfx.png

My questions are:
Will it run the original EU3?
Will it run EU3: Divine Wind?

If there's more information you need to be able to answer these questions please let me know too.

Heya, long-time lurker, first-time poster. I've created Irish North America, a Hindustan from Xi'an to Socotra and Siberia to the Antipodes, that one Buddhist Welsh Noble Republic*, and now I'm embarking on another mission...

SWITZERLAND.

But not your pappy's Switzerland, no. This is the ALL-CONSUMING BLOB OF CHOCOLATE, CHEESE, AND CUCKOO CLOCKS. And also freedom.

However, the first few times I've tried, I've run into one of the following three problems:
1) Austria.
2) Burgundy.
3) The Emperor.

Sometimes multiple ones at once. Austria and Burgundy haggling over the Rhenish republic was a sight to behold.

So, here are my goals, roughly in order:
1) Remain Administrative Republic if possible. Republican under all circumstances.
2) Conquer most of the little Germanies, including Mecklenburg, Brandenburg, Altmark, und so weiter.
3) Form Germany.
4) Remain as liberal as possible in national outlook (i.e., maximized Free Subjects, maximized Free Trade, NIs including Bill of Rights, Ecumenism, Liberte, etc.). This one is amorphous as I'm willing to cut corners if the situation calls for it.
5) Liberate the rest of the German cultural provinces (including Austria and the Netherlands) into unification with the Grossdeutsch Bundesrepublik
6) Sweep away remains of feudal past (i.e. the HRE).
7) Push to the Urals and/or steal some colonies. I hear Argentina is nice zis time of year!

Suggestions on expansion? And on not getting trussed by the Emperor or Austria like a pig for the pot?

*that was odd.

June Game of the Month: Henry and the Dragon

What if there had been no clear resolution to the Wars of the Roses?

The Tudors had a weak claim to the throne anyway and...

What would have been the fallout if Richard III had not been killed at the Battle of Bosworth?

What if his son was now the king of an independent York?

There's two pathways in this game:

The easy route:

...and the hard route:

Image: http://i.imgur.com/iIaNTnIl.jpg (http://imgur.com/iIaNTnI)

Western Europe:

Image: http://i.imgur.com/hNkBvMal.jpg (http://imgur.com/hNkBvMa)

...but there's something else, something terrible lurking somewhere in the distance... it might be a race against time to complete those primary and secondary goals before all hell breaks loose...

No matter whether you start as Henry in London, or Henry in York, your primary and secondary goals are as follows:

---Quote---
*Primary Goals*
Own all British Isles region
CoT and capital in London
Barbados
Statute in Restraint of Appeals
All British cultures fully Protestant
---End Quote---

---Quote---
*Secondary Goals*
Primary goals and...
Own all Thirteen Colonies region
CoT in Manhattan
Be in continuous possession of Calais
Pass Calais is staple port decision (if England)
Dadra and Goa
---End Quote---
Scoring will be as follows:

---Quote---
Played to end of scenario: +1
Played as York:+1
Primary goals:+ 2
Secondary goals: +2
Bonus goals: +2
Third place:+ 1
Second place:+ 2
First place: +3
---End Quote---
For a total of 11 points

First, second and third place will be awarded to those who complete the challenges in the fastest possible time.

If you don't manage to hit the primary goals, end of scenario counts as 1st Jan 1644. Otherwise play until completion of desired goals.

But what about the bonus goals?

Heey. I am currently playing as the Byzantine Empire. Just fought a disastrous war with Austria.
After that The Hansa declared war upon me. I sent my ships to them and back to the docks. Now after years I wanted to compare my fleet to those of other nations. I saw that I just got one big ship left. My fleet is gone! 40 mighty big ships are... gone =@! I really have no clue what happened since I had to focus on rebellions everywhere (war exhaustion = 20 ).

It will cost 2,200 ducats to build those nice-looking ships. Using alt+21 and typing in "cash" makes me 5,000 ducats richer.

Is there any way to edit the files to make that cheat give me 2,200 ducats?
