Then in another blink of an eye he looked at the window, he might have been able to jump out trough it, but he wouldn’t be able to close it and such a sign wouldn’t be unnoticed.
The only solution was the wardrobe. McKane slipped in it quietly and managed to close the door behind him just as the room doors opened.
